Comfy old-man boozer, friendly staff, with a pretty cracking soundtrack (Northern Soul, Mod classics) - very decently priced too (£5.90 for Guinness, glass of Tonic and crisps).

I have to say that this place is my favourite in Brighton! Not only because its cheap, but the Bar staff service is amazing and they are all really nice to me and my friends every time we go for drinks. The music is always really good too and i love the upstairs bit a lot.

I'm disabled and it's a bit of a rough pub I'd say. Let me tell you this, the bouncers and the staff, these guys are so friendly and always cheerful, if you're decent they will go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I'd like to say a HUGE thank you to AL, a bouncer who saw me outside waiting for a bus and brought me a glass of water. You don't get this kind of chivalry very often. Thank you guys keep it rock'n' rollin!
