Amazing food - love this place. Only open 1 evening - tiny place - felt very spoilt. No licence yet. Smiley friendly waiter and chef. Never eaten food this good in London Rd before!

I love popping to this cozy portuguese café whenever I can. The owner works there and she is absolutely lovely. I love going there and being able to speak portuguese 😍 The food is delicious.

Dina’s cosy Portuguese café. Portuguese pastries are the best in the world. You should try freshly baked Jesuita with espresso. That is the taste of heaven. Bacalhau dish is also great. Semi dried cod has deeper flavour than fresh cod fillet.

What an absolutely amazing place with truly incredible food! My friends and I visited this café at the weekend as I am trying to learn Portuguese and had never tried Portuguese food before, and oh my goodness, what a fantastic decision it was to come here! As soon as we stepped in the door, the atmosphere was so cosy and welcoming. The lady running the café, Dina (forgive me if the spelling is wrong), was so welcoming and kind. We ordered a variety of different food and drinks, and everything was cooked to perfection. The taste and texture of everything was just heaven! If you come here you absolutely have to try the pastéis de bacalhau (salted cod fritters), they were to die for! This was my personal highlight of our weekend trip to Brighton and I cannot wait to come back! Muito obrigado! Até breve!

Small and friendly cafe by day come restaurant by evening serving simple Portuguese fare. We enjoyed tuna on Portuguese bread and fried cuttlefish Algarve style for starters followed by the Black Pig cutlet served with Chorizo, short ribs black pudding, game and pork sausage, potatoes and green beans while my dinner partner enjoyed Potugeuse Cod Fish Stew. To finish, an Almond Tart served with ice cream. All was lovely and none left. Service is a little slow but the team are finding their feet and we didn't feel waiting besides its a BYO so we just enjoyed our company and the courses as they arrived. Seating is quite limited but comfortable. I suggest booking ahead.

Faultless, absolutely fantastic coffee, Rissols & the cod fritter was delicious! I was joking when I asked for a Portuguese cappuccino. I googled it as it tasted so good……. Camelo is Portuguese! Cracking little find.
