Earl's Sandwiches

We had just arrived in Brighton to have a first meal and went to Earl by chance. The Banh Mi's were absolutely delicious. Fresh, spicy, crispy bread - simply excellent! 5 star reward. The owner (Earl?) is a nice guy and we had a little chat. He prepared the food very fast. The location is very small, two persons can sit outside and 2 or 3 on the inside, but that's no problem. It's mainly concepted for Take-Away, I think. It is located very central. Top!

I got this huge mixed vegan kimchi bành mí for £7.50! It has kimchi, maggi tofu, squash, aubergine, spinach, and edamame pâté. The vegan banh mi I’ve tried at other places has been so boring but this was scrumptious: so flavourful, a little spicy, crunchy. Perfect to have by the beach on a sunny day which is what we did. My partner got the pork char siu. The pork was so tender and juicy. Portions were huge so I had mine for breakfast and lunch, too! I will definitely be going back to try make my way through the entire menu!

You know the food is good when they have an actual 5 star rating on Google. My word, the tastiest banh mi I've ever had. Opted for the vegan squash and then also got the aubergine one, and they were sensational. Generous portions, a properly stuffed sandwhich, and great value. Shout out to our server because it's all very well having tasty ingredients, but he actually put the sandwhich together so well and evenly spread...if you know, you know. It's a 1.5 hr drive for me to get here, but I will be driving back just for this again. Excellent business, which is well deserving of the 5 star review.

One of the best Banh Mi's i've had even compared to some in Vietnam. Huge crispy roll, generous fillings and sauce on point. Had the chicken and would love to try others whenever next in town. Price is about right for a banh mi and one of the cheapest prices I've seen in England. If you've never had a banh mi try this out! (Location is a little off on Google map, but you'll find it on the corner of jew st/Church st).
