I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Got there about 10:20 am and it was empty, but filled up within 15 minutes. I was in a rush and the waiter got me in and out quickly with a smile on his face. The cappuccino was one of the best I’ve ever had and their veggie full English was amazing. Presentation was great, service excellent and food delicious!
Amazing service, yummy food and nice atmosphere. The pancakes pictured were so good. Whilst I was dinning a customer started playing the piano. I will be back :)
The server was clearly on his own tonight, and he handled the job like an absolute beast his customer service was such high quality and really set a standard for any other servers in Brighton. The food was also fantastic. I had ordered the Caribbean Ribs, which came with salad and chips which were heavenly. The ribs were perfectly sauced and seasoned, and the pork was really juicy and fell right of the bone, the server was kind enough to bring me and my dad more napkins and a bowl of water to wash our hands in at the end to fully get of the sauce that was left over. My mum had the mac and cheese bowl, and it was cooked perfectly and was given an abundance of bacon on top of it. Over all it was a fantastic experience and you can't complain about the wait which wasn't even that long as to me it seemed a standard wait time with one person doing all the serving and taking orders. Will definitely return here when I'm next in Brighton.
this restaurant is fantastic, food is stunning,I ordered mocha and eggs royal with sausage, coffee tastes nice, eggs royal was well seasoned, the portions are adequate and just right, muffin is medium soft and hard, the sauce works well with the food without feeling dry or over-sauced,the side dishes are slightly bitter and cleanse the palate, the chili powder is the highlight, basically nothing wrong with it,one small tip is that the eggs can cook a little bit longer because the yolks are still coming out. The environment is also very pleasant and the staff is very friendly. I feel like I got my money's worth. In general, it is highly recommended.
Lovely time at Islas bar!! Went for a birthday cocktail/brunch and not only was the service brilliant, they also gave me a free cocktail for my birthday!!
Best breakfast in Brighton! We were party of 7 and we all loved their food. Service was amazing! We all would like to thank Meya for making our morning! Thank you!
away for the night in Brighton and wasn’t sure what I wanted for food… a short walk led me to Islas and I could not have made a better choice.
I had the halloumi for starters and it was outstanding, presentation also. The burger was quite possibly one of the best I’ve ever had (definitely go for the ultimate burger if you visit)
Service was second to none, attentive but not intrusive.
Please open up another Islas! Closer to Bournemouth the better!
Stopped by this place while venturing around ‘The Lanes’ with my partner and a friend and what an amazing find (even worth a visit for the coffee alone!)
The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive and really made our morning.
We only stopped for coffee but decided to stay for breakfast after looking at the menus, our friend opted for the Islas Breakfast which looked amazing (lovely bit of sausage), my partner went for the No Meat Breakfast; both would have given me food envy had my Hash not been so tasty! The food arrived quickly and nothing was too much to ask of the staff.
Definitely a little gem and we will definitely be returning!
Wow, what an experience, loved it!! The staff couldn’t do enough for us and was all well knowledgeable about the products. The ambience of the whole place is fantastic. The food is outstanding. Will HIGHLY recommend to anybody in Brighton!!
Had brunch with my daughter for her birthday. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. They even gave my daughter a free cocktail as it was her birthday. Would definitely recommend :)
