I always wondered why this little spot had so many people hanging around outside.
Where to start? The coffee is outstanding, I mean really outstanding. Then the food. We are slowly working our way through the menu but every single thing has been outstanding. You have to try the mince, best have have had anywhere!
Do yourself a favour and don’t walk past the Death Star Canteen.

Love the quirky menu of this place! Fresh food, real Aussie feel to it. Their chips are the cutest and yummiest 🥰

This IS the refreshing change that Brisbane CBD has needed for quiet some time. A quirky, non-presumptuous, geeky, funky, cool, fun, hip and happening cafe which is 100% Star Wars themed. The owner is awesome, when I was speaking to him about the ranking of his cafe his wise words were ‘wow and I didn’t even have to pay someone to leave them 🤣’. The food is great and good value but it’s not five star or gourmet cuisine so don’t expect that. Loved coming here and will be back again

Worth a visit.
This is a cute and quite little cafe with nice and simple star war decorations.
Highlights: great food, fresh and super delicious, awesome presentation, coffee is reasonable taste and priced
Notes: if you are looking for fancy star war theme cafe as a big fan, don’t expect too much. They got some cute wall hangers only. They don’t speak “star war language” of any sort.... LOL
Downfalls:
the ordering process is bit confusing, coffee only or food-with-coffee comes in different process, not well communicated from the sign at the front
If you wanna a friendly service with plenty of eye contact and a smile, this is not the place to go, service is pretty laid back and everyone seem bit too busy to do that
Also the shelves behind the counter looked a bit messy, with multiple items put together randomly, need a bit rearrange to meet the expectations.

Stopped here just because of the name of the cafe. Too funny. Best coffee ever. Busy but service was quick. Friendly staff. Just bloody awesome!

As an avid Star Wars fan, I had to stop by the Death Star Cantina. They immediately win points for the name and decor. I ordered the bircher muesli, avocado on toast and an almond milk latte.
The latte arrived shortly, allowing me to enjoy the decor, a star wars lego death star, some wall stickers of storm troopers and various coffee/tea star wars parafanelia. The first sip in a new place is always a weary one. I hope it isnt bitter. I hope the shots arent burnt. I hope I don't hate it. This latte proved to be very creamy and went down very smooth. Perfect!
I received the muesli and toast shortly afterwards. They are generous portions, so in hindsight I ordered a bit too much for one (oh well, extra situps later). The muesli had chunks of apple and banana and was drizzled with honey. Very delicious. The toast was awesome, but then again, avocado on sesame seed toast, why not?
The server was very polite, fast and attentive. Perfect experience. I absolutely recommend the Death Stat Cantina for anyone from a guy looking for a cup of Joe to any Star Wars fan visiting the city.

Great little place, good prices and food served fast. I really dig the self service ordering coffee on entry, you can watch all the regulars show up with their own coffee mugs :)
