Had a coffee and a brioche French toast (daily special) here for breakfast. The coffee (mocha) was great but the French toast... now that was sensational! Basically the best I've ever had, and the presentation was beautiful too. The staff were friendly, the service pretty quick and plenty of free tables when we went on Sunday morning. Definitely coming back! Great work.

Been here quite a few times now and it's always been a mixed bag. Sometimes coffee is extracted well, sometimes not, today was particularly bad being very astringent and weak to a point that I had to wonder if it was a single shot in a large cup. Food is always very good though. Service seems rough and muddled, they try to do table service but it doesn't work too great. A place definitely worth coming to eat.

A hidden gem in Morningside. Really unique brunch dishes. It was difficult to choose. I had the croque madame which was the die for. The house mustard was so delicious. A nice, clean, neat cafe with lots of natural light. My only critique is that I wasn't offered water but obviously I could have asked for it as well so not a big deal. The service was otherwise outstanding too. Will definitely be back.

When we arrived we were greeted and served by friendly staff. The cafe had a great fit out with a nice back area. The coffee was great and came out quick. The menu had so many great items it was difficult to decide on one. We ordered the spaghetti and the wolf pancakes. The spaghetti was tasty and filling, the pancakes were an interesting mixture of savoury and sweet. Both meals were delicious. We will be back to try out more of the menu!

This place is absolutely fantastic. I very rarely give 5 stars. We went there for breakfast and ordered two coffees to start. The bean is from a local roaster called Hardy Boys Coffee Company. My cappuccino was smooth and flavoursome and my friend's double espresso was strong, just the way he likes it. We ordered the pancakes and the fried chicken sandwich. Both dishes were original and delicious. If I lived in the local area, I would not go anywhere else. The two other pluses with this place are the service and the ambience. It is a great place to relax with seating inside and out. We loved the wolf pictures on the wall as well.

UPDATE: now five stars. They’ve picked up their game, we gave it another crack and it was excellent ......I’m going to optimistically give these guys four stars, in the hope that they overcome some teething issues and improve their game. The place definitely has potential. Twice now the coffee has been good, with the potential to be great if specific requests were catered for, food has been good but prone to mistakes and service has been patchy - staff are either just a bit young or inexperienced to pull it off. I hope with a bit more time they will excel. Great for Morningside to have new concepts. Terrific venue.

This place appeared to have opened very recently, the one person on the counter seemed to be a bit flustered by the amount of people offering coffee and not being able to keep up with making them. There was one person in the kitchen cooking. I made my order and sat down after a little confusion with the internet connection for the payment system. Another person then came in and helped with the service and things started speeding up. About 25 minutes after I ordered I got my meal, then shortly after, my coffee. It was totally worth the wait. The coffee was smooth and delicious, the meal, which was a fried chicken French toast sandwich with coleslaw, maple syrup, and pickled celery was absolutely delicious. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I'm 100% going to return and I think once they sort out their teething problems I'll be turning this in to a five star review.

LOVE this place. Barista knew my coffee order from my first visit! The coffee is so good. Eggs were perfectly poached, bacon was nice and crispy. Staff are friendly. Outdoor area with sun and is pet friendly 🐶
