Wonderful experience at Georges Brisbane. 5 star service - our waiter was extremely friendly. Clean restaurant.
Rated 4 stars as the steak and lamb were okay. Definitely recommend ordering seafood over the meat dishes.
During dinner we sat next to a family who had a child that kept screaming and our tables were not socially distanced so I wished they could’ve politely move us away because it was not very busy when we had dinner at 5:30pm.

Came here to try the this beautifully located seafood restaurant after hearing it multiple times online, and it did not disappoint in the slightest. It was known for having a ‘half priced’ menu but it seemed to be standard priced anyways since it was still quite expensive, but it was reasonable given the setting and the type of food. We were fortunately seated on the balcony, right at the views of Brisbane River.
Our waiter was a very polite and properly trained gentleman, and my god what a delight it was to be served by him, I’ve never had such fantastic service before in all my life. Regardless, he informed us of everything we had to know and he attended to us throughout the entire evening. I remember we had the grilled octopus, fish of the day (I dont remember what it was), garlic prawns, and a sort of small platter of mixed seafood to share, with a side of chips. I also had a cocktail just to try since the menu seemed so extensive. We were fortunate enough to dine at a time where the sun was setting, which made the view look a lot nicer in the nighttime.
It was a pretty nice spot for seafood and for dinner in general, with pretty views and incredible service.

Food was really well presented 🎁 on the plate (check out pics) and served to the right temperature of each food type.
Price is debatable, it wasn't cheap nor expensive. Even though we went at the "lunch half price special" we ended up getting a full priced meal each. For our 2 meals and handful of drinks it was roughly $175.
Service was very friendly and the restaurant was clean, definitely needs a renovation as you can see the age of place just about every where you looked.

Food and Service was amazing, the oysters were a bit pricey and they were very small. The food was great but it could be cheaper for what we got. The staff were always there to assist us. Might go back, and order something different, everything was great but the price was a bit too high

3.75 ⭐️Lovely service with nice views of the river. The interior is a bit outdated and the cutlery we got had to be swapped because it was unclean. Lunch special is reasonably priced. Tried the:
🐟 Garlic bread - standard, pretty expensive for what you get
🐟 Seafood crepe - very flavourful and full of different seafood. Does get quite heavy tho and pancake gets soggy

Visiting George's paragon or the first time and it was such a pleasant experience. Everything from the food, view to the service from the staff was amazing. We got 5 appetisers to share between 2 of us and it was more than enough and the dessert (mud cake) was very tasty as well. The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially Serena who served us and quickly helped to answer our query in regards to the food. Great food at affordable prices, would highly recommend.

Nice food and nice view. The waiter was friendly and patient.
Ordered seafood and the seafood was absolutely fresh and delicious. The portion for the main dish was quite big however the appetizer was not big enough. Recommended to go there earlier around 5:30 when the restaurant is still not busy.

We came here during labour day long weekend 2nd May. Was attracted to the huge banner showing 50% off full price items so we went in for lunch.
Dont be fooled with the marketing, the menu price ranging from $15-$35/dish for mains after disc applied, and keep in mind the 15% surcharge for public holiday. So not much of any specific bargain/special in our opinion.
We ordered a varieties of dishes: pasta, chicken parmagiana with greek salad, grill baby octopus, coffee and drinks.
The baby octopus dish is cooked perfectly and nice flavor combination. The rest of the dishes are quite salty, actually very salty! Even the salad was salty! We mentioned it to the waiter that walked past and replaced it with another bowl of salad and yet still quite salty. Quite likely pre-made and seasoned in advanced. The carbonara pasta dish was also way too salty. The pasta dish itself has nice smoky flavor with bits of bacon in it. But it may be over seasoned which ended up too salty after a few mouthful and makes us feeling thirsty. Overall only managed to eat half of the pasta dish, half chicken parmigiana, and half greek salad and couldnt finish them although we went in quite hungry but fill up with water to wash down the saltiness. Mentioned it to the waiter when we pay the bill but seems to shrug it off and give a smile instead. Overall service is OK, but will we come back? Definitely gonna think twice before stepping foot in again.
