Hosaku

It's presented as a 4 star hotel. It's not. It's horrible. There was a terrible smell in my room. I eventually found a bag of rubbish left by the cleaners. There was an electric beep in the room I never managed to find that. Then the light in the bathroom would not work so I had to shower in the dark. There is none of the stuff you expect from 4 stars. Reception closes. The only thing 4 star is the price. I had to move from a smaller room elsewhere in the area. I was paying $100 a night. The place was nice, clean and everything worked. This was $275 for the night. I complained as I checked out but the staff member did noting about it.

Absolutely disgusting. From the minute we walked in the room the smell was terrible. The lounge chairs had so much human grease and body fluids on them we did not want to sit on them or touch them. We requested sheets brought up from downstairs to put over them so we could actually sit on them. Curtains are falling down. We had to clean the air conditioner filters as it was filthy. The tap in the kitchen is almost falling out. The toilet in the ensuite runs constantly. The TV in the bedroom does not work at all. Do not bother staying here. From many reviews earlier it is obvious that if you do complain or point out the issues nothing gets fixed.

So many things were wrong. The biggest being that our “king size bed” was 2 single beds pushed together! Couldn’t even comfortably cuddle in bed. The weather was extremely cold, and the heater didn’t work. Fridge was ancient. No exhaust fan in bathroom. TV only had about 10 channels that worked. Room was not cleaned properly. Found someone’s sock underneath the TV cabinet ( which was missing a handle) Door to the laundry room was of its hinges. I requested 2 more towels, as my partner and I both have long hair, was refused. I would NEVER stay there again.

Absolutely disgusting. Smells soo bad that we could not sleep one night. There is only one aircon in the living room and bed rooms have no ventilation. The toilets are soiled and smell far worse than public toilets. The 🚽 is right in the middle of the toilet. The carpets are damp and smelly. Beds are cheap and springy. Fans had mould on it. Don’t book here. This is a rip off

Only good thing about this hotel was the location. Rooms are outdated. Bathrooms were mouldy and dirty. This place also tried to invoice a patch and paint fee when there was no damage. Managed to get the money returned after it was taken from the card i used when they were unable to provide evidence. Would not recommend this place at all.

I don't recommend this place at all! I should have read all the reviews before choosing it. The room was poorly kept and cleaned when I got it, there was underwear inside the dryer from the previous stay. The light in the living area was not functioning, I called reception but no one picked up, had to try a second time to let them know and they advised that they will send someone to fix it the next day at noon if I were in the room, nobody came even though I was staying in the room to wait for iit until evening, so I spent my entire stay with a broken light. Then the worst thing of all: I was on a business trip and they had both my caed and the company's card on file, they let a new starter processed the transaction and it went to my card instead of the company's card!!!! I had to spent so much time with the acency to sort this out and still haven't received my refund after days. Literally a cheap hostel is better than this place. Worst place I have ever stayed.

I wish I had read the reviews before booking Checking into the room I discovered Bathroom bin had not been emptied and full of used ladies sanitary pads and empty packaging Shower full of black mold Informed reception who had the bin emptied and said the shower would be treated, the cleaners treatment was spray something and then go off they actually did that as 5 days later still black mold in the shower I don’t think they realise you need to spray and scrub mold , I wonder if their idea of having a shower is to stand under the water and they will be clean? If this is the quality during quiet times they are in big trouble when tourism and borders open Rooms are dated and needing refurbishment Only plus would be the location
