Shingle Inn

This was the first time we had come here. The girl who served me seemed very distracted by something. We ordered and waited. My meal came quickly and my partners meal came a long time after. The iced coffee had very burnt coffee. My chips were ok but the stainless steel container was burning to touch. My partners omelet was undercooked and oily. The glass that we were given for my partners juice had someone else lipstick on it and her plate had a massive chunk missing out of it. When we told the young man about it, he couldn't care less. Very disappointing

I love the Shingle Inn. I have very fond memories of the Shingle Inn when my grandmother and. I used to go into the city back in the day. I now take my son who loves it as well. No complaints here the only thing is I don’t think the person who made my order didn’t read the request as I had also asked for a an ice coffee with no ice cream and a small amnt of cream with almond milk . It came out looking great but tooo much cream and too much ice cream - which I didn’t request . but other then that - I love it .

Bad experience front the barista called AMIE. Very rude and unrespectfull attitude, poor listening and customer services skills. Did not allow me to even talk while placing the order and instead of listening she just interrupt me and talk over me. Definitely a lady without manners... in addition she asked me if I wanted any sacue with the chips I ordered but never said that I have to pay extra, which by law she should communicate this... I just realized the extra charge when I checked my receipt. Omitting information like this is not a good practice for any bussines, so please check the consumer law in Australia and educated your staff... Food was disappointed, tasty but no good price for value, specially when you ask for a bacon and hallumi slider and what you get is this (check photo) Other staff members were polite; but definitely this is my first and last experience any SHINGLE INN shop. Worst customer services ever.
