Crusty Devil Bakehouse

Received some fresh cream based donuts to try. Found them to be fairly plump and still pretty nice despite it being near end of day. However with the base donut itself and the cream being the same across most flavours in my sample, they were largely very/too similar. There are lots more flavours available to explore, so hopefully my next visit / taste will benefit from greater variety.

Amazing quality donuts! The fresh jam and cream was just exquisite and was freshly babes with a beautiful flavour and lightness. The staff were also friendly and helpful with warm smiles. The best donuts in Brisbane! And great to see a local business doing well - some of these earlier reviews are completely misinformed and outdated.

If you have been reading my other reviews then here we are as part of the bakery discovery series for this fuss pot. This one is actually ok. It was nearly 4 stars. Cottage pies are the best here as are the doughnuts. Service is a bit hit and Miss. Some of the workers are friendly and kind and others just look like they can’t even be bothered to crack a smile. I also don’t like the name of the place. The devil scares me and seeing it in the name makes me think of war and evil and it just doesn’t make me feel good when I am gonna wanna be eating and not contemplating good vs evil thoughts.

food is disgusting Pie was soggy and filling seemed days to week old not worth the money I paid for a so Called baked daily fresh pie what was made Tuesday and reheated Friday. The donuts were awful hard as rocks and felt and tasted stale not fresh at all the topping was nice but I'll give it that Staff are very rude and pushy
