Pizza Capers

Hands down the BEST PIZZA in Brisbane. Do yourself a favour and come to this place. It is a literal institution. It is worth any drive. The dough is so soft and fluffy, yet with the right crisp on the outside... The toppings, cheese, salami/ham is of the finest quality and is FRESH. I love seeing them make the pizza in front of you, and particularly love the good vibe of the staff. I will be returning with all my friends. No hesitations at all. Thank you!

I’d go back for the calzone alone - the best I’ve had. In my opinion the pizza compares to Julius, Prova and Elementi. The dough is good, a strong thin base not super crispy but well coloured. The crust - enjoyable, chewy and certainly not dry, but not too puffy and not loaded with flavour. The highlight is the toppings. You can taste the quality and freshness in each bite, there is clearly work put into the selection and combination. Intriguing menu options as well. A nice cosy feel, arty pizza oven and very friendly staff.

The pizza were good but small and there was only small amount of topping on it and it was very pricey for the value. On top of that the manager wasn't really nice and wanted us to dine outside with a small child at night with this cold. We had to insist to get in and the service wasn't friendly or great... The reviews were so good I taught about giving my opinion

I was a loyal regular customer to Pizza Violetta prior to its closure approximately 6 months ago due to Covid-19. Tonight was the official re-opening night. The service was great, staff were really trying their best, & I could see that Renata (owner) was trying to get everything right for all patrons. I got a takeaway Bosciaiola pizza. But unfortunately was disappointed with my pizza (which I never was prior to their recent closure). The base of the pizza was a little bit soggy as it was undercooked. On the previous Menu it was a “white base” Bianca pizza, however this was on a “tomato “ base, which unfortunately it does not explain on the new menu. The Bressoli (on the previous pizza) has been replaced with Sopressa, however as my pizza which was cut into 6 slices, only 4 slices contained any sopressa. I will come back again as I really love to support “Local”, however I do hope that the pizza bases are cooked a little bit longer, so that they are not soggy. Thankyou for coming back into our suburb, & I hope my next pizza experience is just a little bit better 🙏🤩

Pizzeria Violetta has been a fav since it’s opened its doors. Such a cool place to be, the pizzas are always consistent and most importantly they are authentic! Highly recommend trying Violetta, the staff are friendly and inviting. The food is unreal and I love the fitout too! Will return asap !!! M
