Sushi In Haru

This place was such a pleasant surprise and I mean that by its quality !. It's located in the mall right by Coles and generally these places are just a typical-average-whatever-im-hungry kinda joint. But this place offered some excellent well made sushi, I love that they even include the lion king rolls and fried chicken and boy was it good 👌. Japanese curry was also amazing. It's excellent value, so damn convenient and you're gna love it.

Whilst I was using the restrooms within the centre I saw an employee of this place walk out without washing her hands. She went straight to the shop and behind the counter picking up food and tongs in the servery. I approached her whilst she was holding a plate of food and told her what I’d witnessed - not been hygienic by washing her hands whilst working in this shop. I love sushi and immediately changed my mind on buying my lunch there as they were absolutely not interested in the fact they displayed such uncleanliness. On top of this, the entire time she wore her mask under her chin. Sorry this is unacceptable in hospitality and even worse you had no interest to correct your actions.

Recently the menu has changed. No Ramen, No Karake chicken salad. As a person who had live in Japan for years. This restaurant is typical Aussi style Japanese food, as most of other random Japanese sushi place which run by non Japanese. As I know, this place is current run by Korean now. They all speak Korean. And when I try to order foods by it's Japanese name the staff doesn't understand. Still, the foods are great. But if you're searching for actual Japanese taste. This is not the place you looking for.
