Valentino's Italian Restaurant

We ordered a thin and crispy pizza for delivery on Saturday, as first time customers. I usually don’t do online reviews but feel compelled to warn others…! The pizza sauce was unlike anything we have ever tasted before — the main ingredient had to be sugar as that was the overwhelming flavor and little else, just thinly applied sugary tomato sauce. Also the restaurant is just 1.4 miles away and it arrived soggy and lukewarm within about 45 minutes from when the order was placed. This is not good pizza!!!

Every time I give Valentinos another chance, I regret it. It never fails that my order is wrong. Tonight, they left out an order of cheesy garlic knots and after working all day and going home, no one wants to drive back out for the correction. The last time I ordered I was given long plain, disgusting breadsticks instead of the cheese breadsticks I ordered online. The time before that, I waited 15 minutes for two ladies to figure out how to work an iPad and take my money while my food sat on the counter getting cold. The time before that, I got a pizza that was burnt on the bottom. I hate leaving bad reviews but at some point there has to be some accountability. I’m updating the review to reflect the apology I received. Ultimately, it isn’t easy to run a business and I respect and appreciate the effort the manager made to rectify this. The purpose of my review was for management to see and make corrections, which I was assured they are doing.

We had the ravioli, salad, 10” pizza w/3 toppings, Philly w/onion rings, salad and a calzone. $61 and change.Sounds like a lot of food, but not really. Food was ok. Calzone was the best. Ravioli was ok. 4 raviolis for $13, ouch! Pizza was SO small. Was going to split it with 2 kids but couldn’t it was so tiny $13.50.Ouch! Salad was good, they got the good ranch. Over all probably won’t order for the whole family again, but maybe a date night for just the two of us.
