Thanksgiving dinner was great. Portions were huge and everything was hot and tasted great. One person ordered the filet and it was big and cooked perfectly! The place was packed, we had reservations. They were a little behind for seating but that’s to be expected on a holiday (when families sit longer). Servers were stressed but were able to accommodate all of our needs. I’m planning on going back to try their regular menu, possibly the filet!

Been coming here for decades. Food and service are always on point. For either dining or private events. This place does get crowded. There is extra parking in a lot across the street.

I went to a funeral luncheon there. Very clean in every section of Georgine's. Wait staff was very professional. The luncheon was buffet style and went very smoothly. I would absolutely recommend Georgine's to dine in or for an event(luncheon, bridal shower, baby shower,etc.).

Still the same after all these years! My parents used to take me to Georgine’s as a kid 30+ years ago. Still the same menu, same dining room, same everything. I think the last time I was there before tonight was my senior prom in 1997. Very nostalgic, it’s almost like stepping back in time. I’ll let you know that I am a chef and restaurant owner so I am probably pickier than your average diner. We arrived a little late for our 6pm reservation, wasn’t an issue. Party of 9 for my birthday. Had my 3 daughters with us, my youngest is 2. We were sat around 6:10. Our server came over right away and took drink orders. She was super nice. After that interaction though, the service was waaaaaay too slow and inattentive. She didn’t take our food order until almost 6:40. The night continued that way. Long periods of not checking on us. One thing you guys need to impress upon your wait staff is people with young children have a window of time much smaller than a table without kids. Have to be prompt and keep it moving. If it were packed and she was quadruple sat I would be more sympathetic, but that wasn’t the case. I shouldn’t have to ask multiple times for refills or scan the room over and over to try to get someone’s attention. After finishing dessert I had to get up and go to the hostess stand to ask for my check because we were just sitting there for 15 minutes. We didn’t leave until after 8:30. Food was decent. Caesar salad was delicious. I’m gonna guess it was Ken’s Classic Caesar dressing which is the best. Salad was good. Apps we got calamari, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders for the kids, onion rings, French onion soup, snapper soup. Calamari was cooked perfect, nicely seasoned. Chicken tenders were strips of chicken cutlet. Flavorless but cooked nicely. Zero seasoning on them. Soups were good, mozzarella sticks were good. I got the veal Georgine which is what I always got when I was a kid. Presentation wasn’t great. It used to be veal topped with sauce and scallops. I got a square plate with veal on one side and the sauce and scallops next to it. The sauce was all over the rim of the plate, I’m guessing it shifted a lot when being carried out. Just looked sloppy. Also on the corner of the plate was an edible flower and 5 long dead and wilted chives. Doesn’t add anything to the dish. You’re just putting it on the plate and then throwing it away when the plates come back to the kitchen. Save yourself the food cost, neither one of those are cheap. It’s especially unnecessary when the chives are brown and limp. My veal was very tender but lacked seasoning. Same with the scallops. Tasted very fresh, cooked nicely, but no salt or pepper. My wife liked her broiled seafood combo, but also not seasoned. We all split a triple strawberry crepes and a cannoli. Crepes were very good. I’d recommend going with 3 little cannolis instead of the one big one, can probably charge an extra $1. Single cannoli on the plate seemed a little lost and underwhelming for $6. I like the restaurant, everyone was very nice, will probably come back sometime.

Great place for authentic Italian-American food. The Italian dressing on the house salad was recommended by and fried and did not disappoint. The bourbon pecan pie (tonight's special) was the perfect ending to our meal.

Italian with an emphasis on seafood. My only regret is that I never have room for dessert - the portions are very generous. It's very casual, although the ambiance is nicer. It's a very popular place, so unless you go when they open, be prepared to wait.

Georgine's in Bristol is an experience all its own! I have never been here until this year and now I love it so much. I will say, the food is yummy but pretty standard fare. Nothing truly gourmet or upscale about it, but the portions are OUTRAGEOUS and the tastes and atmosphere is so comforting. I begged to be taken here on my birthday just because it feels like stepping back in time -- in a good way. Nothing has changed about the decor or atmosphere and, during a time when everything is being modernized and gentrified in Philly, that feels kinda nice. I have enjoyed the chicken parm, which comes in a HUGE portion as well as their salad and pasta. All of the food is cooked wonderfully albeit slightly underseasoned. But like I said...the atmosphere is where it's at. Georgine's is ALWAYS packed with families and never not busy, so they must be doing something right! Highly recommended with love!
