Sonic Drive-in

My son Micah and me had many years of meals and treats at this Sonic before the pandemic. It is a fun place to order from your car and have your food brought to you by a friendly car hop. Sonic is always changing up the menu and you can really customize your drinks with so many flavors. A great family friendly place.

Well it looks like every fast food in America is facing short staff. It's completely understandable and knowing you have to wait but it's everytime happy hour here you push the red button and if there is more then 4 cars there you wait 15 to 20 minutes to hear a voice to take order. So this time wasn't any different except the drink was not filled to the top and all the ice was melted. Asked for 11 packs of sweeter and received 2 instead 11 which didn't matter the unsweet tea was supposed to have blackberry and raspberry for favor which was charged for both and it tastes like unsweet tea only. I didn't request a refund or another drink cause it was more busier after getting my drink so it would probably took 45 mins to get a new one. Learned to travel an extra 5 minutes down road to the sonic on volunteer pwy cause I've had great experience there everytime I visit.

This place had really great food and the prices were far beyond reasonable for what you get. That's one of the reasons I love going here to eat. The service is always great too. Been here a couple of times and I don't think that I've ever gotten a rude attendant or anything. That says a lot about a place when it takes care of their customers like that. Great desserts as well. Tried the Oreo Cheesecake Shake and it was unbelievable how great it was. I think I may have found a new favorite milkshake!!
