Shacketts Seafood Shack & Ice Cream

The food is good but the staff isnt great, with loose hair everywhere and long waits. Once it took 20-30 minutes just for chicken drummies! My sister ordered a ice cream in a cone and there was barely any and the next day we went and it was overflowing and not fully in the cone, just about to fall on and a lot got on the car. The ice cream is good if you are willing to wait.

Shackett's Seafood and Ice Cream Shack falls short of it's namesake. The ice cream portions are small. The staff is all kids, we were greeted by a tween who was sitting on the inside of the service counter...after a good 15 seconds of standing there. The service didn't improve with gems like "what do you guys want?" We weren't thanked for our business or invited to come back again, well no worries, we probably won't return after this experience. Too bad the staff has no sense of respect for their business, or customer service, because the ice cream was actually quite good.

The lobster roll had bits of shell throughout. The clam roll was ok, but not worth the money. The hot fudge sundae had clumps of cold fudge. Obviously someone did not turn on the heating unit. If the employees spent more time working than sitting and socializing with their friends at the tables, things may have improved. Will NOT go again, and will NOT recommend to anyone!
