I ate at Eatchu after having my husband find this place few months ago while being on tour. I had mushroom gyoza on udon noodles (which didn't look like udon at all, more like rice flat noodle) and he had chicken & pork mix on rice topped both with vegan mayo. Oh my god how great these dumplings were! Flavourful but not too strong, not too greasy and nicely crispy. The dipping sauce was perfectly complimenting them too. We also had kimchi which tasted good too - you could tell it was made in-house than bought in bulk. The customer service was lovely and very accommodating. Eating outside made the whole experience even better. I will be definitely coming back there while visiting Bristol!

Tasty dumplings with two vegan options - mushroom and broccoli. The mushroom was our favourite, the broccoli could have done with more flavour inside, but the toppings improved the experience. Didn’t try the rice dishes but would give them a go next time I’m visiting the city. We had to wait a little bit to get seated as there was only two benches available. The staff member taking orders was friendly and the service was very quick.

Very friendly staff. This is a takeaway but does have a few tables outside. The dumplings were pretty good, and the prices were reasonable. Be aware that I was asked to choose a tipping option as I paid,so before I had my food. There is no service besides the taking of our order. This was done in a friendly manner but was a bit cheeky to sneak a tip in at the ordering of the meal.

Reviewing while ordering again (2nd time) Never ever tried these kinda dumplings. Really the best in city. Chicken dumplings 🥟. Just try it. Not enough seats to sit but the food - no words to describe the taste. You will not regret it.

Yummy yum yum gyoza and noodles to take away (or eat at an outside covered table). You can also buy bags of 30 frozen gyoza that can be cooked from frozen in 6 minutes. Great quick service too.

What amazing gyoza. Everything cooked fresh while you wait. A great street food vibe. Very friendly staff and a very short wait. Dumplings with noodles will definitely fill you up for the day and your taste buds will thank you

The best gyoza I have ever eaten! So fresh and absolutely piping hot when served! Seating inside and out is limited and the queue can be long, but the wait is well worth it. Would not visit Bristol without going back here - exceptional!

These guys hit the nail on the head! We've had fresh food from their Exchange Avenue site and had the pleasure of cooking their easy, quick cook at home takeaway dumplings. Both are epic and come with really friendly service. Will def be back.

Delicious and fresh! Would recommend to anyone, the only let down is the long queues at lunch time and the short opening hours. If you don't work in town during the week you won't be able to get to Eatchu in time to try out the delicious food. I would also like a click and collect option to be available to alleviate the queue issues.

Really nice pork dumplings. With rice it made the perfect lunch portion and was decently priced too. Has a limited selection (2 meat + 2 veggie/vegan) and only outdoor seating, so keep that in mind. Staff were really nice and helped me with questions about allergies (kitchen handles no nuts, which was nice to hear). Definitely a street food kind of place, rather than a fancy lunch location, but worth a visit!

Hit this spot midday for a late breakfast! There isn't a lot of selection or seating but that's not what this place is for: Grab a quick bite of some nicely done gyoza. Have to admit the meat dumplings are way better than the veggie options but you can't go wrong with any of them. My fav were the pork. Also appreciated the toppings and the owners are very cool and dedicated to getting everything right, including making trips to Japan to learn. Very good to have this tiny restaurant in St. Nick's market.

Became obsessed with this place last year when my pregnancy induced a basically constant gyoza craving that never quite went away. Best dumplings in town, a guilty pleasure I have for lunch at least once a week and the staff is always lovely!

Love the setting of the store, look like those Japanese store in a narrow alley. We picked free range chicken gyoza and it was reallly yummy with the sauce. It got a bit chilli oil and also the mayo tht makes the whole thing awesome!!!

Very nice new experience. We ate outside due to covid restrictions but actually we liked it more to stay outside with fresh air and with other people around. The food was good. I ate the chef's plate with rice which was soo good. I never tried mayonnaise on rice before and I loved it. Only thing is that the girl who works there, who was very nice, told us they only have frizzy drinks and we asked for water and didn't get any but no worries, we will come again 😄

My favorite quick eat in the center of Bristol. The dumplings are delicious, the noodles and curry rice are very good as well. They always get me my food in less than 5 minutes

Me and my boyfriend had lunch here and was pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality. I would highly recommend the chicken dumplings with the spicy noodles. The staff were all friendly and really attentive. Would definitely return!

Had a lovely lunch here. The staff were friendly and explained the options well. We wanted our food not too spicy. Limited seating outside
