This was my first visit to the curry house, and it was truly exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, some of the best I've tasted in the UK in the past two years. The flavors were outstanding, and the presentation of the dishes was top-notch. Furthermore, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, displaying a high level of professionalism. I can't stop thinking about the delectable dishes, and I'm eagerly anticipating my next visit to explore more of their menu.
Great place. I liked the food, the service and the music. Clean environment, and friendly staff. As soon as we've got there, the guy just got our coats and holed himself. After that, we've got some drinks and the food. It is a bit pepper flavoured, I must admit. Took me just a few minutes to start sweating. To any end you pay for what you get - it is good however, a bit expensive as well. Worth going for special occasions.
Clearly a well liked restaurant, very busy but had space for me when I turned up without a reservation. Great service, super tasty (hot) Naga curry - burned in all the right places 🤣
Came here tonight and Curry House did not disappoint, lovely, friendly service also.
Tried this place for the first time this evening and it was fab. Great, attentive service. Clean, nice and modern restaurant environment. Food was delicious! Super fresh and tasty. My chicken was very tender, even though they were relatively large chunks. Very pleased to hear they deliver to Whitchurch area, as this is hands down better than Paprika or Blue Ginger I'm afraid to say.
Having previously lived in Brislington since the mid 1990's until 2009, this was our local Indian takeaway and occasional dine in restaurant. The food has always been excellent. We returned today, as we have once since we moved away from Bristol, for nostalgic purposes and also to have a damned good curry. All 4 of us have different tastes and tolerance of the level of spice, but all 4 meals were exquisite and made to our individual tastes. The service is exceptional, where everyone is greeted with kindness and as if you are old friends. A great evening, so glad that although it has been refurbished, the food and service is as good as ever.

Just what I was looking for
We hadn't pre booked but they still managed to squeeze us in even though it was a friday night and they were busy. Very friendly. The food was beautiful, had the chefs special, with mushroom rice and keema nan, and a chicken korma with mushroom rice and mushroom bhaji. And I can honestly say they were the best currys we have ever had. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back the next time we visit the area. 5 stars all the way.
Excellent meal tonight. Really enjoyed the pickle tray and prawn Biryani. Varied menu - it was hard to decide what dish to choose. Good sized portions as well. The staff were excellent - attentive but not too attentive :-)
Every now and again you go to eat at a restaurant and your expectations are exceeded. This happened tonight.
My husband and I were on a short break in Bristol and on our last night wanted somewhere local to our hotel to eat. We stumbled across The Curry House. Without a reservation they were able to find us a seat (I recommend booking if you are going there) and so the delightful experience began.
From the moment we entered to the moment we left, Rob our server, supported by Katie were gracious, welcoming and ensured our food and drinks were delivered promptly and as requested. Service here is second to none.
The food was excellent, tasty and as described on the menu.
Decoration in the restaurant was tasteful and enhanced the visit.
To finalise I would find it hard to imagine that you could have a bad experience here as everything about our visit seemed to be ingrained in who they are.
Thank you very much guys, next time in Bristol we will be back
