Great experience, been waiting to check it for a while and it was totally worth it. The service was quite good, friendly and dedicated. We had lunch, a daily menu is available apart from regular menu. £12.95 (2 course), and £16.95 (3 course). The food was great, quality and presentation wise, great work from the Chef. Bare in mind that the 4 stars and not 5 is linked to the cleaning and smaller decorations/organisation details (spider webs, toilets and general presentation)
I went here with my family (8 adults + 2 kids) for a Birthday meal on a Saturday lunch. We were really well looked after. The food was very seasonal with lots of local produce, everything was delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough. It is also very reasonably priced (my sisters visiting from London couldn't believe it!). Thank you Greens.

Quite a compact place to eat but very nice food. Service is everything you want nothing more nothing less. Food came in an appropriate amount of time. Prices slightly more than you'd expect for a good steak or lamb, but very much worth it. Would recommend but not go back in a hurry as there are many other places to try on the same stretch of road and near by. Ticked this one off our list.
Nice relaxed dining experience. We went there for my husband's birthday and there weren't many diners but it was a weekday evening. Service was friendly and efficient and the food was all excellent. My steak was very good although afterwards I thought I could have done without the "additional" sauce as it would have been adequate without anything on it. My husband actually said that his starter of chicken liver parfait was "awesome". My gazpacho was fresh and delicious. Good range of wines and drinks too. The decor is looking a little drab and could do with refreshing. I also found it a little noisy sitting further inside opposite the kitchen door but it wasn't too bad.
Been meaning to try this restaurant for some time. My daughter treated me, as an early Father's Day present. We were not disappointed. Relaxed service, food nicely cooked and presented. Not fussy, just right. Will return in the future to sample the Sunday Lunch.
Went last night for our daughter's birthday. What a fabulous place wonderful seasonal menu, great vegetarian menu, service excellent. I shall remember the comment from the waitress when we joked that our wine had been stolen- brilliant! A gem of a place we plan to visit again soon.
We had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch.The Vegan and the Vegetarian in our party were well catered for- the Nut Roast answering both their needs.Nut Roast can be downright dull but our meal was excellent.Hake on a bed of braised lentils was excellent. Service was helpful and friendly. Good value at £19.99 for 2 courses.Would come here again

A lovely cosy restaurant not far from the city centre. Staff were very warm, friendly and helpful. Food was very very nice and a good selection of drinks to help wash it down. Plenty of parking around which is free after 6pm and has a bus stop right outside for those using buses... Good for couples or small groups, would definitely return in the future!
