Best pub steak in town! Came here from a recommendation and it didn’t disappoint. Unfortunately couldn’t get a booking til late but is expected from a pub like this on a Friday night. We ordered 2 rib eyes that were seasoned to perfection with a fantastic choice of sauces to pair with it. We ordered a range of sides which had fantastic quality and could of been a dish on their own. Service was super friendly but toke us a while to get seated but unsurprising with the food quality. We made our way through their range of red wines which were all delicious and worked perfectly with the menu.
Will be telling everyone I know about this place!!

Despite the waiting list for a table it is more than worth the wait.
Food came at the perfect timings from starter, to main then dessert.
First place that actually cooks the steak properly and earns the name of being a steakhouse. Everything was full of flavour and in decent quantity.
Super friendly staff and a very clean site to be sat in, tables, restrooms and also floor was very clean and higher than most places expectations.
Nice cosy atmosphere and there is parking in the streets nearby.
Many more visits to come with friends and family.
Very good Sunday lunch had by the family. Food was great. The only downside to it was that they had run out a beer (not lager). So I had cider instead but love craft beer. Price was not expensive. We will return.

This is a surprise restaurant as it is off the beaten track in a residential area. There is free on-street parking after 5pm. There is a range of steaks on offer. You pay separately for your sides, e.g., chips, onion rings. I recommend the seasonal vegetables and my wife liked the sweet potato fries. All the portions were very generous. We also stayed in the hotel above the restaurant. Our room was rather small (we saw into another, larger room) but immaculately clean. They provide a free parking permit, too.

Really good steak! We went for a 52oz T-bone steak each and really exceeded our expectations! I’m not giving 5-star only because we had to wait quite long for our (reserved) table and for the steaks to arrive.
Straight down the middle when you take into account the whole experience. We booked a table and they had over booked so we had to wait 30 mins. The steak was high quality and cooked nicely, ribeye medium. The bar staff and wait staff were great too. They charge for chips and sauce separately which also taints a restaurant experience.
