Amazing food, fantastic quality for price. the mussels were fresh and tasted amazing!

I booked for Saturday evening dinner with a couple of visiting friends, having not been to Bella Vista before, but read good reviews. We weren't disappointed. The restaurant was very busy - perhaps fully booked - but we were seated swiftly by a friendly waitress. Although it was busy, it wasn't oppressively noisy, thanks to lots of soft furnishings and plants. Service was well-timed throughout despite it being so busy. The food was lovely, we had three courses with a bottle of wine, which came to around £45 each, which we considered great value for the food and service. I'll definitely be booking here again; I'm just sorry that I didn't discover it sooner!

Bella Vista has such a lovely outdoor seating area for a sunny day, right next to the river. It felt like being on holiday eating here! Really enjoyed my al tono pizza.

We had a family meal here after our wedding and it was perfect. Almost 30 people to cover and all of the food was delicious, hot and timely. Fantastic options of the set menu they provided us for our event and reasonably priced. Brilliant atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff were so friendly, helpful and thoughtful. Even turning the music down for when we had speeches without us even asking them to! A brilliant restaurant for any meal or occasion and we will definitely be continuing to return here frequently!

Nice views and the food is very good, I only left a star off the service as they didn't come back to check on us for drinks or to see if we wanted anything else. A great view and even though it was a little windy it's well sheltered. The lobsta ravioli was amazing and was at the suggestion of the waitress.

We wasn't really sure on what to eat for tea. My fella had seen good reviews, we happened to walk past and saw the outside seats in the sun, so off we went! We got sat in a cosy booth and was served pretty quick. My fella asked the young lady what she suggested and he went with her recommendation. Food came out quick! And it tasted amazing! Noone came to ask if our food was ok, but I'm sure my empty plate showed how much I enjoyed mine!
It was pretty quiet for a Monday evening, but perfect for us as in and out with great settings.

I had a good experience at this place during my trip to Bristol with my family. We ordered pizza and calzone, and they were absolutely delicious! The food was amazing, and the service was excellent.

Almost a perfect restaurant! The food was gorgeous and very tasty, alongside original drinks. The mango and pineapple juice was a sweet and refreshing drink. Chairs were comfy and the views outside were amazing.

Lovely food and great ambience. Although we had dropped in for dinner without prior booking, we were seated immediately.
Had the ravioli filled with scallops and prawns in smoked salmon and saffron sauce, and the risotto marinara. Both were delicious (although considering the price, the portion size was slightly less).
We also ordered desserts. Since several ones on the menu were unavailable, we finally ended up trying our tiramisu and another dessert (I can't recollect the name). The portion size of both were really good. The ice cream scoop that came along was however very bland. Despite the minor issues, Bella Vista is definitely worth visiting again.

Lovely meal, not one thing I could fault with the food.
If you are looking for good, high quality food, Bella vista is the place to go. We enjoyed everything we had, with a lovely view of castle park. They was short staffed and still managed to stay professional and bring food at a respectable time.
