We expected to pay more with it being a Michelin Star restaurant but the prices were really high when compared to the portion size of some of the dishes which was disappointing. Regardless the food was delicious all round but it felt like there was never enough for the price. Our waiter was exceptional, amazing knowledge of the dishes, the wine on offer and his personality really added to the overall experience. His upselling skills really paid off 😉 Overall a special once off experience but not sure we will be back.

Booked this on a whim from miles away, no idea what it was like came to visit our son who is at uni in Bristol for his birthday. Atmosphere was really relaxed and friendly, not stiff and formal. Food was really good, lived up to the hype. Staff were amazing as well, really attentive and we were treated like individuals, a tough skill in a busy restaurant. Shame we live in Hampshire else we'd visit more often. Loved it.

It's unusual for a more casual restaurant to get a Michelin star but this one deserves it. I recommend the chefs selection if you really want to experience everything and have it with the sherry pairing if you like it! Well worth a visit!
