Carvery booked for 2pm for 7, greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Waited no longer that 10 minutes for our table to be prepared. Busy with customers but this didn't alter service. Really delicious food- can tell he takes a pride in this element of the dining experience. Definitely recommend and will definitely visit again.

We love going to The Rudgleigh! If you have food allergies or intolerances like me this is your dream restaurant then! I couldn't remember the last time I could eat a gluten free fish and chips! They have a great selection of dishes and the portions are big! The staff are so polite and lovely! They always make us feel welcome. Totally recommended!

We have been here many time and returned here recently for a couple of family meals. We always enjoy the experience as the staff are great and we are always made to feel special. The owners always make a fuss of my mother-in-law which makes her day/week. I have tried most things on the menu and all of them are excellent - I struggle to choose which is my favourite - probably the burgers, or the veg chilli, or the gammon... so many great choices.

We were made to feel extremely welcome when the four of us called in for a drink. We hadn't intended to eat but we asked to look a menu to see what they offered. We ordered some 'light bites' which were absolutely delicious. The whole experience was very, very pleasant and we will return! Highly recommended. Gary and crew

Carvery choice was a little lacking compared to your run of the mill carvery, however the food on offer was incredibly tasty. Meat cooked beautifully and the roast potatoes were brilliant. Kids meal came out really quickly, it was on the table before we had returned from carvery selection. Kids carvery is expensive for younger children,would be ideal for an 8-12 year old.

Lovely place for dinner when staying a the Ramada hotel on our way back from Cornwall. My daughter has serious allergies and the lady came out to speak with us at length to ensure they made something suitable and they were happy to grill some chicken for her (even though its not on the kids menu) Despite my daughters allergies the restaurant even had a "proper" pudding that was suitable for her, a vegan chocolate brownie and vegan custard. That might not seem a big deal to most but with allergies to dairy, egg and nuts it's pretty much unheard of! A big thankyou to the team who really made our last evening of our holiday a lovely one! We didn't take any photos of the food as we ate it too quickly, but we chose the ribs, the steak and then sticky toffee pudding and brownie, all was really delicious! Couldn't recommend more, and if you're nervouse due to allergies don't be, they really were amazing and made the whole situation so relaxing!
