Definitely in the top 3 for vegan/veggie roasts In Bristol. Always a healthy selection to pick from on a Sunday. Also kid friendly during the day which makes it easier to get to with the kids.

OMG … A Definite One 2 Visit
We had a wander around town for the afternoon and then headed over to try out our latest Vegan / Plant based restaurant find.
The food was absolutely superb - Some of the tastiest food we’ve had in a long time at vegan restaurants. Many are good quality, this was excellent!! 👌
It would be nice to see slightly more attention to detail and also some more vegan options for cakes or desserts but otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

Went there for a gig and few beers, lovely place to be! And great local beers!
Staff's awesome as well.
After an year we came back for a sunday roast, was literally perfect! and great jam session monday evening.

We went to have dinner together since they do veggie options and the food was amazing, very good and tasty. They also offer NHS discount although the staff were not very sure about this but it was confirmed with the manager. Nice live music afterwards, from 22:00ish they remove the tables to create a "dance floor".

I came with a large group (12) and we had the set menu. It was so delicious and everyone on the table was very excited and impressed as the vegan/veggie plates were arriving (meat eaters & vegans alike). Brilliant service & as always a great atmosphere:))))

Great attentive staff. Quite busy even at 5pm. But food arrived quickly, and every dish (6) was absolutely delicious. At this point, I would normally tell you about the vegetarian choices, but everything is either vegetarian or vegan. Spoilt for choice. Definitely going back.

Went out to the Canteen to a live music concert. The atmosphere was great. I took a friend from Argentina and he absolutely loved it. They have a good selection of beer and cider, and the classic cocktails. Stuff super friendly and welcoming! Highly recommended if you want a bit of live music and nice drinks!

Came here for dinner and drinks and it was exceptional. All veggie/vegan but super indulgent and delicious. The BBQ tempeh was a hilight, even if you don’t like tempeh! Staff are lovely, good array of drinks and good value for money too. I love their live bands every night as well!

One of my favourite places to be in Bristol. Whether it’s working remotely during the day, eating dinner or dancing to a band. The canteen has it all. The food feels like it is made with love - a really creative and delicious variety.
