Pies were really fantastic, accompanied with great mash and gravy. The limited Tikka pie had a great curry flavour which worked perfectly in a pie. The market is also a lovely place to sit and people watch, or admire the architecture. The top of the Moo was maybe… burnt onions? I’m not sure what it was, but it was really bitter and ruined the crust flavour for me. Also as good as they were - £17 for a couple pies with mash, in a marketplace, was a bit higher than I’d like to pay. Happy to pay that kinda price in a warm restaurant, but with the lack of heating semioutdoors on a cold day… Still a solid 4 stars.
Good mushroom pie.Had it with peas,mash,gravy,cheese and dried onions.Tasty but a little expensive for the portion size.
