Excellent all round! Only taking a star off because the vegan roast is the same price as the veggie but without the cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire pud. Staff were fantastic.
Amazing atmosphere, was fantastic fish n chips with great ales! And the staff were absolutely lovely! Will definitely comeback!
I was a bit wary as it’s tucked in a residential area but it seems a really nice area. It was a bit of an uphill walk to get there from our hotel down in the town but I came through the park with the dog and it was nice. Weather was good so we sat in the garden which is enclosed but down some stairs and fine with the dog.
We didn’t have a reservation but the waitress was kind enough to let us sit at a high top to eat. We had the Sunday roast beef and roast chicken with all the sides. Wow…it was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and very flavorful. The …
The worst lunch I have ever experienced a table of 10. Meals arltartwd arriving after about 30 mins 50 mins last person served . Food was all cold. Every plate was missing at least one thing.. side dishes did not appear until the meal was nearly finished. Overall terrible.I will never return....
Good overall roast dinner, beef was melt in the mouth with nice veggies.
My only little niggle was the roast potatoes weren't quite cooked enough and not crispy or fluffy outside. Nice pint of Neckoil and good overall service. Recommended.
