Don't know Bristol well so thought I'd pop into Friska as I've never seen one before. Pho noodles were decent and they have a great range of sweet and savoury food. Coffee was excellent! I dock a point for anywhere that uses single use coffee cups, so if that changes it'll be a five ;) #noexcuseforsingleuse

I am usually very picky and fussy when it comes to my love of my cup of coffee, but the coffee at Friska beats the very big chains. The food was lovely and very filling. Reasonably priced and extremely quick service. I highly recommend it.

Nice place, all members of staff are engaged and positive, for me one of the girls - Ellie did stand out, always a great chat. Food is great and tasty, coffee is delicious and you even get latte art. Overall really nice place for breakfast and / or lunch.
It's a chain, but that doesn't stop this being a lovely daytime cafe.
Good selection of food, pretty generous loyalty scheme with the app and the staff are always happy, friendly and willing to help.
I'm almost taking off a star as the morning pastries are a let down (especially the croissants).
REALLY nice food every time without fail. Flavours are always spot on and very fresh. I’ve been a regular for nearly 2 years now in my current role at work, so try to visit at least once a week. Great rewards app and staff are always friendly and cheery.
Don’t be put off by the queue out of the door at lunch times as more often than not, you’ll have your food ordered and at your table within ten minutes. Highly recommend *****
This is without doubt the best coffee shop I have ever visited. I always make a point of having breakfast here when I am in Bristol. The coffee and food are amazing. The staff are genuinely friendly and so positive.
Good atmosphere, perfect coffee and food so fast you'll question if it's your order because surely it can't be ready yet.
The staff do change often but the core team are rock stars and the management will fall over themselves to ensure you have a good time.
I do like Friska a lot - the staff are very nice and friendly. The food is on the whole of good quality, as are drinks.
My only slight negatives would be at times when it's busy sometimes the system of service for food can break down a bit and takes a while to get your order. The coffee whilst fine; maybe variation in roast would be good as the standard one is a bit weak. Oh and it could be open later - say 6-7pm for those who have longer days! But nothing drastic!
Overall a great place around Temple Meads, which gets very busy at lunch with queues out the door at times!
Really friendly service, decent coffee, and so close to Temple Meads. Refreshingly independent feeling coffee shop. Their cinnamon swirl buns are well worth a taste!
The service and the coffee here were a delight. The barista who served me was so warm and pleasant, she really made my day! She had long blond hair the most beautiful smile...can I get your number?
Some people say that Friska is a bit pretentious and in all honesty it probably is, but i don't really care as the staff are top draw and the loyalty app is great idea allowing you to order and collect. The lunch choices are improving (menu stayed the same for ages but has now been tweaked slightly) and the pre-prepared sanwhiches have also improved. Coffee is decent if a little on the small side however as an accompaniment to lunch is adequate and fairly priced. Donuts on a friday are always a welcome treat and a nice touch. Great place to go for lunch or brunch whether esting in or taking away. Keep up the good work and keep the menu fresh!
Nice friendly staff & relaxed chilled atmosphere, pop here frequently before being picked up to go home.
Lovely place with a nice atmosphere, I went on a late summers afternoon, so it probably helped with the positive vibes! Had a decaff coffee which was quite good! Sometimes places do not put in as much love into the decaff I find, so this was a refreshing change.
Really good food and friendly staff. Never been or heard of Friska before. Laid back approach. You order the food and drinks at the bar, you give them your name, the take contactless and then they call you up when its ready. The food we had came in a to-go box which is apparently standard. The food and the cappuccino were delicious. It was a bit messy on the floor where we sat but I'll just put it down to the mess from the previous occupants of the table which the staff weren't yet able to clean up.
