The Railway Tavern is a genuine local pub, which is a bit of a rare thing nowadays, and offers three real ales on hand pumps, plus popular lagers, cider and Guinness etc.
Darts is a popular game here, and there are two dart boards.
There is now a pool table!
Several televison screens around the pub show football and/or rugby, when it is on.
The Bristol to Bath cycle way is only up the road, so getting here is easy, and cyclists are most welcome....well..everyone is most welcome actually!
Anyway! I like this pub and it's mix of local (and not so local) people, and have spent many a happy hour (or more) here!

Old school pub . Not a place if you want fancy decor, but is a place if you want chatty locals , great bar staff , live music on a friday and Saturday, darts and a 50p pool table . I personally loved the place

The only downside to this pub is the lack of vegetarian or vegan options. There's sides or Mac and cheese that are ok to eat if vegetarian. They've got a lovely garden and the staff are very friendly. The pub is also dog friendly and have water bowls for them too, just ask for one.

Food was awesome👌 The curry was awesome!!
The kids had a adults fish fingers meal between them there was loads!! Proper Value for money 👍
