Lovely cafe on Park Street with an old timey vibe. The wooden seating is lovely reminds you of church pews. Feels like a very welcome change to all the other hipster cafés around.
Decent coffee and good selection of light food. Eating in is like traveling back in time because of the decor.
Lovely quiet cafe, the pastry were extremely cheap for what I was expecting but I had a blueberry muffin and it was moist and very flavorful, delicious little snack to start my day. My partner had a slice of carrot cake and a latte.
Friendly staff, and nice upstairs cosy seating area to escape to. Plenty of seating space mid morning. Iced americano, blended, was delicious and perfect for a hot day.
I like going to woodes for breakfast if I'm working near by.
The service is always good and the staff are friendly. It's good value for money, especially for somewhere in town. For example, a bacon sandwich is only £3.50 …
What a lovely cafe. Pleasant staff and good service. It has a bit of an old fashioned theme going on and I think it has been there for a while. Thoroughly recommend the red berry winter cake. I will definitely go there again.
