We have eaten in here once and yesterday ordered a takeaway. Both times the food has been incredibly fresh and flavoursome with good quality ingredients and tender meat. Great portion sizes too. This is now our favourite Indian restaurant!

Bristol is terrible for curries, I’m used to Manchester curries and the ones down here are always way too sweet and gloopy. This is the best in Bristol by a country mile. Generous portions, richly flavoured, extremely tender lamb. I’ve ordered delivery here before and found the portions were on the small side - sitting in is the way to go.

The food was absolutely delicious. We shared many vegetarian dishes, despite me not being veggie and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Special shout out to the Dal Makhani. Best Indian takeaway I've had in Bristol I think.

The best lamb chops we've ever eaten! Marinated, straight from the tandoor - completely amazing. Inviting restaurant, with welcoming, friendly staff. The food arrived swiftly and was delicious. Lots of interesting dishes and flavours. Definitely recommend.

In the last year it has been opened we have been to Msala library probably four or five times, during summer or winter, eat in, take away or in the terrace it has never disappointed. What I love about it is how fresh the food feels in your mouth and how ungreasy it is. Besides the undoubted quality of the food, I really appreciate how humble and friendly the hosts and personnel are. I'm really so glad Msala is round the corner from us!

The best authentic Indian I've had in a long time. Brilliant service, lovely atmosphere and delicious food reasonably priced. Excellent veggie and fish dishes as well as meat. A very unique menu! We'll be back soon.

6 of us rocked up for a friend's birthday with no reservations they cooked at least 15 different dishes all of which were delicious within 30 minutes at a great price. Will be going back soon..

A gem of an Indian restaurant. Looks tiny on the outside but the lovely decor goes back for a mile on the inside. The best poppadoms I've seen or tasted, a beautiful bonsai arrangement with some crispy cone things and multicoloured rice crackers - bring some friends just so you get the full effect. The mains lived up to the intros. We had chickpeas, rara gosht and chicken kebabs, all deliciously spiced and very generous portions. Just managed to get out of there before I ate the entire complementary dish of crunchy aniseed sweets. An unassuming jewel of Easton. Only quibble - if you like it hot, specify volcanic. Mine built to a nice warmth level but was still a medium IMO, and my wife classified hers as mild. But it was too good to deduct stars for that.

Thank you to all the staff at the Msala Library. I booked a table for 13 people. They made it a really nice night, were very patient ("who ordered the biryani?") and the food was fantastic. If you're looking for authentic Indian, then look no further. One note of caution: this is not your regular curry house (which are usually Pakistani/Bangladeshi). This is an Indian restaurant, so the cuisine is more asking the lines of what you'd get in South Asia. If you're looking for chicken tikka masala, then maybe go somewhere else. Having said that, whether it's a mixed grill or a chicken sag, the food here is DELICIOUS.

Meals Library in Bristol is so authentic in Indian food restaurant run by a family. We were served by a lady who was very friendly and attentive. We ordered some curry dishes and naan bread. The curries were flavoursome and tasty. Vindaloo curry was really hot and spicy. Nonetheless we enjoyed it. Masala tea was refreshing.
