A hidden gem. I visited No.4 with my fiancee last week, having been contacted at work about their Christmas Party offers, so we thought we'd give it a try. What a hidden gem! Despite being mid refurbishment at the moment (and it look's like it's going to be quite beautiful when finished), the service was excellent, friendly and attentive waitresses, and the food was superb, beautifully presented and well-matched flavours. I had the fishcake followed by the pressed belly of pork (tender and full of flavour) followed by the panacotta. I only wish there'd been more! I will definitely be recommending them to the office for our Christmas meal this year.
We had our intimate wedding here and it was simply perfect.
The quality of the food and selection of wine and other beverages was perfect. The team went above and beyond ensuring the day was catered and specific to our needs.

Lovely interior and friendly waitress. The aubergines were nice, but some of the other starters looked better. The turkey again not bad but but roast was better. The pana cotta was a bit flavourless. It needed some extra sauce or something. The chutney on the chase board was absolutely divine and probably the highlight of the meal. They also stocked a nice rhubarb Absolut vodka.
The staff was lovely, and the food was good. We had a discount for that night, so we tried the place and I was agreeably surprised. We will come back there.
Afternoon tea for four. Booked this a while ago. Enjoyed the food and company, and the staff were really good. The only slight downside was the room. It has no views and is not a welcoming room. Enjoyed the afternoon
No.4 Clifton Village is a lovely restaurant located in an elegant Georgian building in the heart of Clifton Village. I went there last week with my friends for an afternoon tea and we loved it! The food was impressive: a selection of fresh sandwiches on the bottom tier, scones with clotted cream and jam in the middle and fruit tarts at the top. Unlimited tea/ filtered coffee were included in the price and you can also upgrade to a prosecco version. Lovely friendly staff - Tor, Tabby, Gracie and Emily were all very attentive. We didn’t feel rushed and they couldn’t have been more helpful. I would definitely book again.
The food was absolutely award winning!!! Flavours and presentation amazing, taste wonderful. I wouldn’t géstate to eat here again.
Slightly lacking in atmosphere, there was only one other couple. The service was really outstanding.
Very reasonably priced for such gorgeous food, too.
Had the steak and malbec deal. Excellent food, excellent value.
