I usually order the Child's size Cod Bites and Chips meal. Always freshly cooked and tastes delicious. Perfect portion size. Friendly staff.

Just had two fantastic burgers, the customer service is excellent, friendly and with a smile, I’ve also had fantastic Italian style pizza, authentic kebabs the best I’ve had, and all of their classic fish and chips items are spot on, highly recommended 5 stars

So I arrived on Wednesday just before closing.....I brought 2 Large Cod and a portion of large chips....the last fish cake was thrown in as well....must say the that was the best fish and chips I've ever had....I will be back another day

Often get fish and chips from here, but stopped by to try one of the new breakfast butties - they do not disappoint! Great choice of fillings and decent portion sizes too!

Just had a great meal from here. I'll be honest we came here back when they first opened and wasn't that impressed, nothing really wrong with it just nothing special. Having come back again that is definitely no longer the case. The chicken goujons we're light and crispy but still moist and succulent inside. The cod was perfectly cooked and the batter was light and crispy, no soggy greasy batter here. Chips were great, cooked through, I hate when chip shop chips are still floury in the middle. All in all, a great meal for the family, everyone was stuffed!

Cod & Caper do much more than fish & chips- which by the way is great, they have now expanded their menu to include pizza's, great burgers and festive loaded chips. Not only friendly family business they are good but also large portions across a really varied menu, even an ice cream parlour now as well. Go try it!

Quick service however it would be nice to have a little conversation along with the service. Tables and cafe in general were clean. Top quality fish and chips, piping hot and massive portions. Happy to recommend. .

Wow! What can I say? Great service, great fish and chips... but let’s be honest when we see pizza and kebabs on the menu alarm bells do ring, but guess what.... best chicken shish kebab I’ve ever had, the chicken was so succulent Nando’s would be green with envy! And the pizza??? Shove you dominos where the sun don’t shine because this is fresh 10/10 no greasy goodness, I know it’s a fish and chip shop but trust me, give the wider menu a try!!!
I haven’t had a desert yet but if the rest is anything to go on t will be banging!
Up the cod and caper!

Fabulous fish and chips! Amazing pizzas and my daughter more than enjoyed the slushies :) the staff are all lovely too. Defo recommend and will come again

Lovely food. Sit down or takeaway. Parking situated outside. Customer toilets on site. Food was cooked fresh and to order, so there was a little wait, but well worth it. The gent serving us was brilliant and really look after us. Not just fish and chips on the menu. Breakfast on Sunday. Open 7 days a week. See pictures for opening times and menus. Hot drinks available. All a reasonable price. We will return.

Great fish and chips from this family run fish bar. Highly recommend the great value fish suppers. Great food and friendly staff and an immaculately clean environment, what more could you want?

Great value for money. Ordering fish and chips sounds like an awesome idea but many times all we get is a greasy fish and soggy chips underneath. This doesn't happen here. Generous servings and quick service. The only minus is that it's quite hidden and unless you live in this area you probably won't find yourself wandering there for a bit of comfort food.

The fish was excellent. Everything else was pretty good. The wait was fairly slow but to be expected on a Friday evening and there's plenty of seating. If the chips were better if probably go 5 stars.
