Was skeptical after we’d ordered when we saw the other reviews on here - but we really enjoyed the meal. Delivery was on time, portion size big, and food was nice (classic takeaway flavours, what you’d expect from an affordable food place). Only thing I’d say not to order would be the duck as it was very fatty, but the chow mien with it was lovely :)

Best Chinese delivering to East Bristol we have found. They do get busy at the weekend and it can sometimes take a while, but the food is always very tasty and hot when it arrives. The sliced duck crispy fried noodles are a favorite of ours.

Shanghai is our go to Chinese. Excellent menu and great kids choice (chicken balls chips and sausages, great size for if you have 2 kids who share). We usually order on the app and they deliver well before the specified time as we live so close. Very tasty food and would highly recommend.

Definitely my fave Chinese takeaway in England for me.
I would recommend the sweet and sour chicken or pork balls in particular they are very big.
I would always recommend this place for its food... sadly it has come under attention from the media due to its owners tax avoidance... however dont let that get in the way of a food experience you shall enjoy.

We ordered for that place for the second time and We are well satisfied with their Chinese food. We made over £20 bill and they offered us a free meal. At first We thought we will get half portion, but their cooked full meal, which was very nice!
I love their seat&sour won ton. The chow mein is also good. The one thing I don’t like is that the swear&sour balls could be less doughy.
All in all, we will keep ordering from them as long as it is tasty Chinese cosine!
