Found myself here with four hours to kill due to the rail strikes and a long wait til the next available bus. Staff were pleasant and helpful, had some enjoyable random chat with locals/ regulars. Had a few pints of a locally brewed pale ale that was in good condition and reasonably priced for the location. Saying that, if I wasn't absolutely shattered from a long journey and carrying heavy bags I'd probably have headed up the road into Stokes Croft and found somewhere a bit more vibey.

Only stopped in for a few between our flight and our coach back to Leeds but everyone, staff and regulars, was so welcoming and friendly. Guinness was top notch! Would absolutely return if I'm ever in Bristol again

Only stopped for a quick pint, lovely staff and friendly clientele. Definitely a drinkers pub. 👍
