The best zero-waste shop in Bristol. Friendly staff in a large shop with enough variety of produce. Prices are comparable to supermarkets when you factor in the fact that most things are organic, and you are supporting a local independent business. It would be great if they introduced a loyalty card or student discount scheme as they would definitely see an increase in customers. Visit if you re in the Clifton/Redland area.
Really fantastic. Not only does this store reduce plastic waste, it also reduces food waste - if you are making a specific recipe with ingredients you don’t usually use you can buy the exact about you need for your recipe with no excess. In addition, there is an excellent selection of produce over and above the dried goods section at a typical supermarket.
Just got back from my first visit; the selection of food was fantastic, I'm definitely feeling inspired to come back armed with more tupperware next time.
Only bit of feedback, it's a bit hard for us plastic reducing novices to know how to use a shop like scoop, so a little more help would be appreciated. A "planning for your first visit" video on your website could be really helpful. Also more reusable packaging options to help you carry unexpected purchases home.
Keep up the good work.
What a privilege to have this wonderful shop within walking distance. An outstanding range of food and toiletry products available to scoop into their paper bags and jars. I get many of my loose herbs and teas such as nettle, mint and chamomile which are far more affordable here than nearby shops. Additionally I buy their excellent organic raw cacao for chocolate making and bottle up their liquid soaps, bathsalts and lotions for presents. Finally, my daughter absolutely loves their white yogurt raspberry choc balls and chocolate honeycomb...well, I dabble too. Thankyou so much for being a part of this amazing business.
Great place with a wonderful selection and good prices. I usually worry about not being able to afford shops like this but not in this case! They're making it easy to shop sustainably.
What a fantastic find, I havent lived in the area for years and coming back form London I wasn't holding out much hope for a shop like this here. There range is huge and I was able to get everything I wanted and more in one go, I was intimidated at first about how to do it all, as all shops do it differently, there was a young girl with dark hair who guided me through the process and she couldn't her been friendlier, their range of beauty products in there room was fantastic and I was told it wasn't the usual big brands which you find everywhere, thank you so much for being here, Ill be back time and time again, once the lockdown is over. The nut machine and coffee was also a great find!!!!!
Lovely eco-conscious wholefoods shop up Whiteladies road. Recommend for buying spices, grains and nuts in bulk. Prices are good and everything is always fresh. Their protein bars (for 75p a piece!) are also great.
Such a great shop. Makes reducing packaging a real pleasure. Their yoghurt coated strawberries are outrageously good
Simply the best zero waste shop in the UK.
This is the future, @sainsburys @tesco @cooperative @waitrose
Take note, copy or we all go down because of your immovable profit incentives.
ASDA and Morrisons, don't bother we can do without your appalling staff policy and zenophobic nonsense..in that order.
Brutal honesty with
Love 💓
I love this new zero waste shop! You can fill paper bags or your own containers with exactly the amount of food you need. They do pasta, cereal, grains, teas, coffees, sweet and savoury snacks. I can’t get enough of the yogurt coated bananas and cranberries!
