Great little pub, with excellent quality of drinks, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere plus, "every pub should have a dog"....they had two 👍 live music from a fledgling band with a quality sound called,' The Cat Magic' , thanks for a fabulous evening out 😉

Friendly local. Lights quite bright in the evenings but reasonable prices and nice staff.

Nice to see this little gem of a pub open again. And they are doing a great job. Great atmosphere and some nice Ale on tap. Recommended.

Lovely little pub, with a good selection of beer and an even better selection of gin. It's had some recent renovations so it's looking fresh. Also the sandwiches are great and the staff are always lovely.

On the Cask Marque Ale Trail, so that automatically entitles it to at least one visit. And then we noticed the sign, 'Two Pints of Doombar for £5 on St Georges Day' Well, if they keep that up, another visit will have to be done - but then there's the bar staff, affable talkative and eager to please. Hmm, might have to make this a regular....

Woman at the bar so lovely! Tiny little smoking area out back was nice and a bit shaded which was lovely in the heat! Just generally a lovely atmosphere.

Really really lovely manager ! We had a society event and booked the private room upstairs; everyone had a really really great time and we'd like to say thank you so so much for a fantastic evening!!
