Stayed here with my family a few nights ago and had an amazing experience! Staff couldn’t do enough for you going out of their way to help us with our bags. and the food and drinks were excellent! Such reasonable prices for the drinks! The garden on the evening we visited was also amazing, really clean for how busy it was and beautiful in the sun! Would definitely recommend coming to channings!

Myself and my partner came in for lunch today around 2pm and it was lovely, the staff on bar were so friendly and the food was delicious. A very family friendly pub with an amazing garden out the back too. Will definitely be returning!

Superb location. The hotel is situated on the margin of Clifton Village; a beautiful and very green area with a lot of impressive historical buildings- really architectural treasures. The famous Clifton Bridge is 10 min walking distance from here; to the city centre - only 15 minutes. There's a bar with a beer garden here. Food is available at any time for your convenience. Some reviewers were commenting about the noise from the bar. In our case it was a very pleasant and quiet stay, unobtrusive and very friendly. The bed was immaculate and comfy. All amenities were available in the bathroom as well as the kettle with tea and coffee that was great, thank you. Only a little maintenance touch in the bathroom would be highly appreciated. Overall: great stay in Bristol. Highly recommended, indeed.
