This beautiful restaurant is located in Bristol city centre. Inside, it's light and airy, with high ceilings, funky wall art, and appropriate spacing between tables. The menu is small, but all the things we tried were delicious. All the dishes were excellently presented, and were light but satisfying. Even after 3 course, you don't leave this restaurant feeling uncomfortably full, just satisfied. Desserts are probably the weakest part of the menu, so best to head somewhere else for that if you've got a very sweet tooth. The wine selection is also good, with a nice mix of varieties and prices. The staff are friendly, and service is prompt. This is a great place for lunch/dinner with friends.
As a Mediterranean I know about good products and good cuisine. I love Italian and there aren’t a lot of places where I can enjoy it 100%. I was always having a look in Marmo and I gave it a try. First of all, the place is so beautiful, cozy and elegant at the same time. A unique atmosphere like you are in a luxury trattoria in the 60s. The staff so kind and helpful. And to the main part, the food is AMAZING-great quality, great techniques, well presented and full of tastes. You can understand when something is very good or excellent-this one was excellent. A great place that if you love food, you can’t miss. Of course the prices are as supposed to be but is totally value for what you get. This restaurant is for food lovers and not for people that are happy with ready meals. I hope that Marmo will continue being so perfect! Bravo!
Love this place. Great choice of wine and fantastic food.
The Gnocco Fritto with salame was the best thing to nibble on at the start of the meal.
Fried chicken with Saffron aioli was great but the highlights were the main courses - Tagliatelle with wild asparagus, pancetta and egg yolk and then the cod with white asparagus and Porcini butter, I wish we'd have saved some bread for all the delicious sauce.
