I dropped in with a friend last Friday because we wanted quality burgers, not the flaccid, thin-patty stuff served up in restaurants that do not specialise in burgers, and being called 'Gourmet' Burger kitchen, you'd expect a top-notch burger.
The burgers were excellent, honestly. No faults there, the service was pretty good as well, despite bringing out the wrong drinks and being pretty rushed.
One peeve, however, we decided to order from our table using the QR code, which was fine, and it forced me to leave a tip at the point of order.
Traditionally, a tip is given as gratitude for the service, right? I didn't even have a chance to experience the service or try the food, why am I forced to tip something at that point?
It's not tipping that's the issue, I always tip - but it made me select the lowest I could, which was 5% I think, I would have given at least 10% if I was given the chance to tip at the end when I was leaving.

Good then to find this large branch in Cabot Circus celebrating its 15th birthday. Well done.

Chicken tenders to start. Golden. Clean oil! Yes 🙌🏻 cheeseburger with egg to follow. Onion rings and chips accompany.
The onion rings here remain some of the best available. May they never go the way of the shoestring fries 😿
The beer was San Miguel. As it was; As it is; As it should be.
Actually had a pudding. It was ice cream but still. Small win.
GBK still takes some beating. The burgers are really superb.
I’d like to see more sides. Jalapeño poppers maybe? Those are good and easy to make. Or what about deep fried cheese of some sort.
A lot of takeaways headed out. I can’t conceive of why you’d choose that. Eat in all the way.

The staff are always smiling and friendly and helpful.
I come here a lot now, it's brilliant.

GBK is always a safe choice when it comes to burger chains. The Korean Chicken burger is amazing! Kid menus have nice options as well. Very friendly staff.

Food was impeccable but to top it all the staff were quality, lovely service from Kieran and Meg. Quick and conscious of the wait time, giving us regular updates and ensuring food was above and beyond.

Ordered the Rocket Man burger with an added slice of blue cheese, was a total game changer. Best burger I’ve had in a long time. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful too, will be back.
