Pony Bistro

The food here was amazing!! Had the most delicious meal, and the waiters/waitresses were lovely and welcoming as well. Feel really sad that this is leaving North Street but looking forward to it reopening. I would 100% recommend this as a special occasion place, the restaurant was super lovely. I also think for what you get here its pretty good value for money.

The food was superb, but the service lacked a bit of depth in explaining the origins of the ingredients and how they cooked it. I highly recommend trying the anchovies, it was genuinely one of the best dish I've tried! Other dishes were nice, but the atmosphere was a bit too quiet with a lack of explanation of the courses, it didn't compare well in comparison to Wilson's or Paco Tapas where we paid the same price. Flavour = 9.5/10 Customer service = 9/10 Atmosphere = 8/10 Dinning experience = 8/10 Value = 7/10 Overall = 8.5/10

An in assuming , unpretentious restaurant , tucked off the beaten track , but sooooo worth a visit . A fixed price and fixed menu makes things easy . The food was amazing , and just left us wanting more of everything even though most of us were stuffed . We went lunch time as evenings are booked out but it’s worth it !

We had the fixed 4 course meal here early on a Thursday evening, in this restaurant connected to the bristol beer factory and decorated in a well executed industrial design theme. Service was excellent, fast, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was very good , from the photos you can see how well it was presented, not fussy or pretentious, just good local food cooked just right Total price was £86 for the fixed menu, paid in advance and an additional £66 on the night , total £152 for two people including a gin and tonic and a glass of wine so not a cheap night out but very pleasant as a treat for two.

Great to be back at the Pony and compliments to the team for a wonderful evening. Great adaptations for my Coeliac wife with either naturally gluten free food or simple adjustments. Which means we both enjoyed a lovely dining experience of what we might expect from the Pony brand and the standards that Josh and Holly have set over time 😍😍😍
