Stopped in for Sunday lunch and really enjoyed it. As an American, I can't comment on authenticity, but I can say it was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beer and cider selection was solid. The Sunday lunch was the best I've had!

10/10 Roast today!! I had the pork and it was phenomenal! Such lovely staff and service, big servings, very reasonable price for the quality of the food - absolutely worth a visit I highly recommend going for their delightful Sunday lunch! Oooh and make sure you get the cauliflower cheese it was really good!!

Amazing little find. Fancied a drink then decided to stay for the roast which was not disappointing. Great service from Kate, fresh and tasty food from the kitchen.

We managed to get a table booking only a day in advance and I will Definitely be adding the Punchbowl to my ‘Sunday Lunch’ spots in Bristol. Delicious Roast, Beef was beautifully pink and very well cooked. Looking around the room the chicken and roast pork belly also looked great. The service and hospitality from the staff was great, we were even given a free extra bowl of roast potatoes as they had extra at the end of service which was well appreciated. No complaints here, would highly recommend!

It's been a while since I've been in here. A good decision to walk in when we were looking for Sunday lunch today.
Food and service were both excellent.
Visited again today (October 2022) and the Sunday roast was still as good.
No starters or puddings on offer, but the roast is right up there with the best in Bristol.
And still a proper friendly welcome from the staff. Great place.

Lovely pub about 15 min from Bristol Temple Meads station - we went on Sunday and their roast was excellent and the portions were very generous! Service is attentive and friendly. A good place to spend a few hours while waiting for the train which was our case, well worth going to from the town center where we spent the night. Well done to all!

Cosy pub with short but quality menu and an excellent selection of local beers. Specials most nights of the week but hard to go past the 3 quid an ale offer on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Friendly staff and walkable from Broadmead and from many of the nearby hotels near Temple Meads.

Very cosy place and friendly staff. Was there early on Saturday so was easy to find a table and get service. Seems like it will be busy on the evenings and Sundays for roast. Food was delicious and drink selection was good for the size.
