It is still a great fish & chip shop. £10.35 for a normal cod & chips is that pricey? The only negative is that the fish was smaller than our local. (Star Bar) Owner was very friendly and the people before and after were obviously regulars. Food was good and it was very clean.

What can I say about the Kat's of Bristol? They've always been the best F&C shop in the area. Home grown resume, home grown tome. Just caught them and last orders and totally cool... about me swaying in like an Andrea Dunbar... ok more of Peter Cushing wth a moist handshake with that famous dude from The Witchfinder General... what's his name again??? Pretty sure the director was called M Reeves. But I'm sure the producer was little Baby Blue from Gone with the Wind..... I think I'm rambling here. I have R&M on in the background.,. And eating the chips as I write with greasy fingers on my phone..... oh the horror, the horror...I need to write a poem here I 🤔 more later

We love our local chippy. Lovely chips and crunchy batter and nice firm fish. The ladies there are lovely and friendly and efficient. We always get their haddock social and like their scampi and battered sausages too.

Very good food I had been craving some good fish and chips for a while and since I was hangover I decided to pop in for the first time and they did not disappoint!! I’m full from a normal cod and chips, one thing that would be a nice addition to the shop is to have a option that comes with disposable cutlery because the smell was killing me in my way home but I recommend 10/10

A 'normal' portion of chips filled the box, and the fantastic mushy peas were a proper sized portion (not the mere garnish you often see these days). All freshly cooked. Entertained while waiting with friendly chat. A local customer came in and was greeted by name. Shame I was only passing through the area, or I'd be in there all the time!

Wow. Best fish & chips and battered sausage I’ve had in a while. The hamburger with a slice of cheese was very tasty too. Make sure you have someone to share with as the portion size is quite large.
