Great band there for free. Not the kinda thing if you want somewhere posh but good music and good beer and nice decorations in main area. Cocktails weren't great

This place is a hidden gem!
Such a cool quirky little pub with lots of interesting stuff up on the walls and all around.
Great live bands and events often and always a good atmosphere with lots colourful characters in and out.
Few tables out front for smoking area

Great pub, brill decor, good live music, bit of a hippy vibe. We'll be back! Only criticism is the barman who has to bump into you every time he walks past. I swear if he does it one more time!!!!!!

Loved everything about it. Fairly small place, I suppose, but clean and tidy with loads of memorabilia about the place. Friendly staff. Great choice of drinks, including several very good craft beers. Great food, too (I had the special - Lamb Burritos, which were tasty, plus a generous portion of fries). Overall great vibe, and the band playing that night (Scream of the Butterfly, all the way from Germany and near the end of a tour of England) were brilliant. Can't fault it, a great night.

This is a great pub / bar / venue on Old Market. Very good beers and delicious Mexican-y food which is great value. Service is friendly and efficient. And lots of interesting acts playing live music in the evenings.

What a fantastic surprise!
This unassuming venue hosted a lively blues band one chilly Friday night in November, and totally warmed my heart.
The ambience was welcoming and quirky, the band were great, the drinks were flowing. Good fast and friendly bar team.
The owner was also serving behind the bar and played some real golden oldie bangers on vinyl after the band finished, meaning the whole place were on their feet dancing and singing. Proper old boozer style!
Had a blast. Will definitely be back!

What a fantastic place with great service. As I’m writing this, watching the England vs Italy Euros final here and could not have picked a better place! The bar staff go out of their way to create a wonderful atmosphere and the prices are right. Definitely give it a visit, you won’t be disappointed.
