It was my first visit to the Forge and Fern for their 1st Birthday and Honey Fest.
It was absolutely stunning!
I parked a 5 minute walk away in a free car park (council run)
The decor inside was absolutely wonderful. It was very high spec and I was blown away by how good it looked. There is indoor and outdoor seating.
They have Rooftop bees which the honey from their hives go into making their honey treats.
They have a vast menu of food, Drinks and sweet treats.
The staff were really friendly and accommodating. They were attentive and really looked after us.

Currently at home to one of the unicorns for the summer (unicornfest23), so to coincide with that, they have a Unicorn themed menu.
Best roast I’ve had in Bristol…after trying a fair few great ones over the years (Pasture, Albion, Bank Tavern etc).
The restaurant itself is beautiful! Super warm atmosphere, the staff are lovely and service fantastic. Loved that they really hero local produce and the homemade cheesecake was incredible. Prices are definitely more than reasonable for the quality - will be making this a regular!!
My husband and I absolutely loved the place. Excellent quality breakfast, I had the Eggs Royale and my husband the Forge Breakfast. The quality of the food was excellent. The quality of service outstanding. Staff member Thea, made us feel so welcome, took the time to talk to us and even tell us more about the restaurant including the Beehive. Having great team members like Thea and Jodie make a huge difference in the quality of service and the customers’ experience. So a BIG Thank you.
Also, the attention to details even in the toilets with the lion door hangers and the cleanliness was fantastic. We will surely come back again, overall great location, great food, great price, great experience and great staff👏👏👏👏
Impromptu visit on a Tuesday evening with friends. Food, decor and atmosphere was brilliant and our waitress, Hermione was super friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend and will be back for sure!
Absolutely loved our visit to this spot! The ambiance and decor are top-notch, creating a fantastic atmosphere. Our server, Christian, was not only friendly but also delivered outstanding customer service. He truly represents the best of this place. Since we had our dog with us, we enjoyed the patio area, which was perfect for pet owners. If you're in search of a great place for a drink with a fantastic vibe, definitely give this place a try
Came for my birthday brunch, service was warm and friendly and efficient! Lovely drinks we had bloody Mary’s and mimosas! Brunch we had sausage baps with hash browns that were delicious! Absolutely would come back and recommend to friends! I’ve been a few times for drinks and I’ve never been disappointed!
A really nice atmosphere. Friendly staff and good service. I had small plates Korean Fried chicken, mac and cheese bites with a bowl of skin on fries which was just enough. It all tasted great.I will definitely be going back again.
Really lovely every time we visit. Amy is our favourite waitress! Always smiling. The chicken and bacon salad is so good but hugggge!! Watch out.
Lovely place for a Sunday roast, generous portions without being too much, good choice and both the starters and puddings had a great selection and were delicious too. The atmosphere is great too, with a selection of different seating that manages to keep the tables private. The wallpaper on the ceiling and glowing ceiling lights are really beautiful.
Amazing decor, very clean, staff were so friendly and helpful never pestered you. Only quibble is the food was probably over priced slightly for what you got. They have a small part of a glass floor so you can see the gin distillery.
