The Whitmore Tap made special arrangements to open at lunchtime on a Monday and cater for a group of 27 Bristol Rotarians who thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Thank you very much.

Came in on the off chance to watch the football. Staff very friendly and very accommodating to my needs whilst I was on crutches. Food and drink both very good. Would definitely recommend if back in the area.

Don t miss this little gem! Recently Had a lovely evening at this pub , the atmosphere is great , my husband says the beer is fantastic!(and he’s a fussy beer drinker!) there was 7 of us enjoying a birthday meal out ! All the meals were hot and delicious , all arriving at the same time, so we could start altogether!! I have to say this was one of the best burger and chips I ve EVER had !! Hats off to the chef! I can also recommend the chicken wings! My friends Fish and chips looked amazing also !! I ll be back for that soon! The service was attentive , and impeccable, so we were able to relax and enjoy our night out!! Thank you 😊

Had an amazing Birthday meal with a group of friends. The food was really fresh and tasty. The menu was varied with something for everyone.Highly recommend a visit you won't be dissapointed..but don't forget to sample the amazing sticky date pud...

I went recently for a roast with me and 5 friends. I had the veggie which was the best I have had in Bristol, my friends had the beef, they all agreed it was delicious. Of course we had some cocktails, they were so great and well priced. The service was great and you can see the chefs are working really hard in the kitchen X

Had the beef roast here Sunday and it was immense! Good value too with the Butcombe loyalty card
As usual for a Butcombe pub, good selection of beers and they have big screens for the football too.

Excellent real ale pub. Been in here when it was Penny Farthing and it's much much better now. 4 x Butcombe beers on plus full choice of their craft keg lines. Had two halves both were very good. Staff on the day very friendly (duty manager was over from Cirencester). Don't think they do food, it's a drinkers pub.

Great staff, always has such a lovely atmosphere, the Sunday roasts are SPOT ON!
Beautiful pub with some great events upstairs, the open mic nights are free and worth venturing out to.
The comedy club is always great fun and silly.... and the quiz is the best..
Definitely worth booking a table for the quiz for a laugh on a Tuesday night.
