We love this place. We found it while on holidays in 2023 and been back every time we vist. We have dined in and out. The food is amazing, this time we shared a seafood platter for £23 pounds per couple we could not finish it. Every thing was amazing fresh. Staff are great we will be back xx

Amazing little cafe, specialising in seafood dishes (see menu picture). We stopped in for a hot drink at eleven, and then went back for a lovely dinner of scallops, prawn cocktail, and crabmeat sandwiches, polished off with a glass of wine.
Excellent service from Anna and her young colleague, absolutely first class, and such good prices.
This place came highly recommended to us by a guest in the Torquay Hotel wer were staying in, and having dined here I can only say that recommendation was very well deserved.
This will be very close to the top of our list of eateries should we find ourselves in this area again in the future.
Try it for yourself, you will NOT be disappointed.

Hidden little gem, popped in the outdoor area early for a coffee then back later for lunch indoor. Seafood salad an seafood linguine was ordered and was not disappointed. Staff were friendly and welcoming which matched the quality of the food. Definitely worth visiting, try it, you won't be disappointed

Wow...saw this place on the tv show,fish town and thought I'd give it ago,..we were not disappointed, we both had prawn cocktails, huge amount of prawns and just the right amount of salad I'd say.all very fresh and very tasty,will go back before the end of our holiday. Staff were very friendly and polite.

Situated in the harbour, within an easy stroll of the fishmonger and the bustling heart of town, this little jem is well worth a visit. We had whitebait and crab sandwiches. The tea was lovely, but for such a large pot, had surprisingly little fluid inside. That minor quibble aside we can highly recommend Claws.

Fabulous little shack with around 10 tables for first come first served. Very good value. The seafood platter that feeds two at around £20 is cheap in my eyes... Friendly staff, wine and beer available. Cash only. Delicious and highly recommended.

This is a simple extension of the Claws restaurant opposite and comprises a few tables penned in on the harbour side serviced out of a cabin kitchen/stall which serves cold dishes and snacks from the Claws menu. It's a basic set up and sea food prices rarely seem a bargain, but that said our sea food platter was almost more than the two of us could eat. Extra bread and dressing etc was happily provided and they are even licensed if you want beer or wine, even fizz. All the seafood is straight out of the sea, served in an unpretentious manner, it tastes great and the view from harbour side really makes it special.
