I had a chicken curry, egg fried rice and chips last night.
Curry and rice were great but the chips were over cooked and very hard and i could not eat them.
They went straight in the bin.
Would have been 5 stars if the chips were ok.

We found Lucky boat whilst in Brixham on holiday. We were really impressed with the food. Really tasty, great portion sizes and Very reasonable in price.

Want to have a Chinese by the sea? Shove the fish and chips places, there 10 to a dozen in the uk. But a good Chinese, that’s something rare, like hens teeth.
This place is exceedingly good, see below some comments from my multiple experiences:
The service- friendly and precise, they know the menu inside out and are happy to help even with the fussiest of eaters (you all have one).
The location- just off of the bus station with parking a plenty and a stones throw from the harbour.
Now the food- lip smackingly good, now I consider myself a bit of a Chinese connoisseur, nothing better on a Saturday night, times that with the sea air and your on for a winner!
In all seriousness, take away the location this is a cracking Chinese, you won’t find better in the Brixham area and further a field. I’ve had most things on the menu and cannot fault it. Think some of the negative reviews here are from some keyboard warriors with nothing better to do…..seriously, get yourself down to the lucky boat, you won’t be disappointed.

Stayed at The Caravan Park this week and had 2 meals from here, both meals were lovely and plentiful, staff really polite. I will recommend on the holiday park face book page for future guest. Thank you Lucky Boat

Went here with my family I had a chicken chalmain with the LOVELY Chicken balls. Best Chinese shop I've ever been as I've been here before and it was stone cold. Update! Went in there the other day and staff very polite and was a nice atmosphere

I have been going here for the best part of 6 months and I have to say, this is amazing!! Everything is on point and never had any problems or mistakes with the food, and amazing customer service too! Five stars :) thank you lucky boat!!x x x
