Albero

Greeted by a gracious host, Harry. In a true seafood based restaurant Albero added a homely atmosphere. It felt like hours had passed but from when we entered to when we left, only an hour had passed! The food was some of the finest I have ever experienced, the chefs really are producing exceptional meals, I wish I was not full after the main as I would've had a second. Perhaps on the expensive side if looking to feed a family of 4 but if you're looking for that michelin star level food at an average cost, Albero is an absolute must. We tried to visit twice turned away on the second visit, the first visit was fantastic and pouring down that's why we got in with our Puggies, they welcomed us with open arms, next time nice evening and asked have we booked, sadly no and we had no option to buy a sad fish and chips else where and took them back to where we were staying because of the seagulls. The food at the Alberto is very, very good, we were fools not to book first but with the experience the first time we never thought we had to, sadly we will not return.

I had a great experience at this charming restaurant situated by the harbour. The quality of the food was truly impressive, with the pizza and scallops being particularly outstanding. However, I found the pasta to be a bit lacking in flavour. It's worth noting that the restaurant is quite busy and small, so it's advisable to make a reservation in advance. The staff were really. Definitely worth going!
