Lovely independent garden centre, really quite big, with a large variety of perennial plants, shrubs and small ornamental trees.
I found it quite expensive though, but lots to choose from, and some quite unusual things.
A large container and bedding section, plus a lot of fashionable indoor plants now too.
Quite a few concessions and indoor items for sale, plus a cafe and restaurant with lots of seating.
Please note the toilets are outside, to the right of the entrance and accessible from carpark, not close to the restaurant!
I only have 1 photo and that was of a rainbow in the plant display!
This is such a lovely garden centre, with so many beautiful displays to see!
Staff were really friendly, and we had breakfast in the cafe which was delicious and served quickly, especially considering how busy it was on a saturday morning.
It's a shame that the toilets are so far away from the cafe, but easy to find with the signposting.
I loved seeing all the displays, and the effort that has gone into presenting the different zones in the centre.
All plants were well cared for and have given me plenty of inspiration for my own garden! I wish I lived nearer because I would be visiting here more often!
Thankyou Team Otter!
Lovely garden centre with a great variety of gifts and plants.
We went to the cafe which is clean and spacious and has a good range of lunch time foods and snacks.
The cakes looked delicious but we plumped for a savoury meal from their jacket potato and baguette options.
They have a decent sized car park with outside toilet facilities .. the toilets were very clean too (a big plus in my book).
Our local garden centre. We use it regularly. Friendly professional staff. Plants well kept but not up there in range to the Cornish nurseries such as Duchy and the Endsleigh. Cafe reasonable quality if unexceptional.
Arrived just out of time for a coffee and toast. Otter staff were able to help out and I enjoyed a truly refreshing . coffee and toast. Thank you so much. It’s those decisions to make
an exception in my case I give them 5 stars. Thank you Otter at Brixton.

Clean place, excellent service.
Friendly staff, very spacious with big seating area. Great choice of menu, delicious cakes. Nice latte.
The garden centre is great, with a large variety of plants, both indoor and outdoor. It also sells home appliances, tools and food. The Christmas section should not be displayed in October though.
Also cats
Lovely garden centre, it is so much bigger than it looks. All the flowers and plants are really well looked after. We ate in the cafe too and that was great. Friendly service, a good amount of food and not too bad on price
Great garden centre. Expect it to more expensive than a traditional nursery..you know the drill. Cafe was nice, food decent, nice vibe. We went to get some bulbs for a lasagne planting, don't ask lol. Plus it got competitive lol. Also on the exit be aware there was a tall trolley with plants on it that you could take for free..we got 4 chrysanth pot mum's..bargain all they need is a dead head , cut down and be raring to go next year..so keep your eyes peeled on the exit. Lovely cafe area, delicious food and a great range of very well cared for plants. Brilliant selection of really interesting houseplants too
