Stumbled on this pub on our walk, decided to stop for a drink and ended up staying for some food. Loved the outdoor seating and you can't beat the view of the Kingsgate Bay & the castle. The service was quick, friendly and very attentive. The food was very delicious, they had my favourite as specials, whitebait and tempura prawns. I wasn't a big fan of the Marie rose sauce, but you can't go wrong with the sweet chilli sauce. My boyfriend had the stilton & broccoli pasta, which was tasty, could have done with a pinch more seasoning. We got some cheesy chips which we dipped in the pasta sauce, which was rich.

This wonderfully located pub is perched on a clifftop overlooking Kingsgate beach. Service was attentive, courteous and efficient. Food delivery was prompt and pleasant. The food itself was excellent and thoroughly enjoyable. I shall definitely return.

They serving drinks before 12, but for food you need wait to 12 noon. However, it is worth waiting for your food, with a coffee or a cold "drink with foam". The portions are huge and the food is delicious. Parking, however, is £10 "per day", try to say you are going to a restaurant. apparently then the parking is paid by the restaurant. There are places for the disabled. If you are allergic to fur, take a place inside the premises, not outside. On the terrace you can smoke and there are water bowls for dogs. Great, but my allergy came right away. Point for taking care of pets and smokers. It would be useful to allocate 1/3 of the terrace for those allergic to smoke and fur. I recommend a visit to this place. And one more thing. There was no longer atolija on the booking site, but I managed to find it after arriving in the wild. try. it's worth it.

There were 6 of us and we booked a table for 3.30pm. We arrived earlier than the booking time and ordered some drinks and were escorted to our table. We each ordered a main meal and each chose something different. I ate the vegetarian option, mushroom stroganoff and it was delicious. We all enjoyed our meal and altogether the meals and drinks came to a total of £114. Very reasonably priced!

Pub with parking, outside seating with great sea view. Food although a bit pricey was good and so was the service, nothing to complain about really. There is also a playground out the back for the kids.

Good pub food with outdoor seating and beautiful beach views of Kingsgate bay and of the big castle nearby. Also has kids play area indoors and a little outdoor park area. Parking is free if you dine here and you can hop over to the beach for a stroll.

The food, the sun and the view! Worth every penny! The day we chose was one of the few hot days we had this summer, it was crowded hence there was a delay in service but totally understand!

Nice little find as we were passing by. Lovely view and the food was really good, and you get lots of it. I had the warm goats cheese salad which was absolutely yummy. Well worth a visit. Only downside was we wasn't told about putting the food receipt in the car window, we found out by another couple. which saved us getting a parking ticket. Staff need to be more informative.
